Series 30 vs 32

What series is better in your opinion? I think series 2 wins by a small margin.

2 repaints, but one more figure than a regular series. So really only one spot was taken up by a repaint.

That being said, I like 30 a lot better. It actually made sense as a line-up to me, 32 kinda seems like they thought "ok, what cool characters can we do?"

Cool figure though. I was never a fan of the first line but I am impressed with the second. Not enough to buy, but nice nontheless.

Disappointed with how the painting on white Omega Spawn turned out in 30.

Raven Spawn is definitely the best, Commando Spawn is about the same as Spawn X, maybe a little better, so I'd have to say 32 was a little better than 30, but they're both great series - I love the animated look, even if they are almost all the same pose.

My mian problem with 32 is the 2 repaints of Spawn x and Omega Spawn...oh I'm SORRY I mean "classic color SPawn X" and "Omega Squadron"

I've been collecting Spawn since series one, and while I loved the extraordinary detail that kept getting progressively better with each line, they all look kind of similar to me these days. Awesome, sure, but similar. So I rarely buy Spawn toys anymore. (Although I had to get Nightmare Spawn. I mean, c'me on; that thing is so cool.) But this new simplified animated look is just the breath of fresh air I was looking for. So once again I'm giving McFarlane my money.

But I do have one question about the Adventures of Spawn line -

WHY NO CLOWN OR VIOLATOR?

And I don't mean a dinky little Violator like the one in the exclusive online pack. I mean a big honkin' one!

You have a good point...we need a Clown figure and a big Violator, it just doesn't seem like SPAWN without a CLOWN. Perhaps they should bring back all of the classic characters from SPAWN 1-50 for a nice redesign. I could use a FREAK to be alongside Mammon & Tiffany.

On a different note, I was hoping that the repaint of Spawn would at least come with an interchangeable "hamburger" head instead of the same Al Simmons head. No such luck.

Though it's close, I'd have to go with 30. I like the black color scheme on Spawn more than the blue, it doesn't have all the repaints, and I really love Cygor and Mammon.

Little off topic but is has anyone heard any plans at all for a third animated series installment? I am seriously in love with both waves released so far and would love at least one more. There are a few figures in particular that NEED to be done, Clown being one.

only thing i didnt like about s32 is the size or creech i was hope he would be the biggest of the set. but i cant really say which one better.

I really like the black 30 spawn over the blue... and I'm still looking for a Black 30 spawn...so if anyone is selling let me know ;)

I love both series... but series 2 > series 1 bcoz the CCX is way to cool! :D...and also RAVEN Spawn. :cool:
