In the first period tonight against the Sharks he scored two goals to take possession of the record for most points by an American-born player. Class act by the Sharks fans for the nice ovation on the tying goal and the goal that made him surpass Phil Housley

Congrats to Modano, who has been nothing but an amazing, classy athlete throughout his career in Minnesota/Dallas. Stars fans should be proud of him.:)

Congrats, I was at the game, while I would have liked to see the Sharks win it was cool to see history made, I guess. ;)

Calling him the "Poor Man's" Gretzky might be the greatest "poor man" compliment you can give to a player in any sport.
