View Full Version : OT: X-Box 360 Question

I was thinking of getting the 360, but i just wanted some input before I did. Id be playing it on a 42'' Sony LCD with either the component or HDMI cable. I was just curious about the picture. Is it stretched out and pixelated on that kind of screen, or is it in Hi-Def like advertised? Any other info would be appreciated as well, Thanks.

It automatically adjusts the picture with what video setting (720p 1080i 1080p etc...) you have selected, without any distortion. I recommend using the HDMI connection. I have a 42 inch DLP tv and the picture quality is noticeably better with HDMI over component.

I have a 360 elite(HDMI cables) and I play on a 46" DLP. It so pretty!!! It makes me smile just thinking about it!!

Agreeed:D For the type of online gaming... no doubt.... I have component HD i think (like 5 different colored cables) and its so much better than regular tv... but i'm lookin to get hdmi
