Man were these a pain to put together. Getting the wings and tails in place was a real pain. My hands are killing me. Ice Dragons wings still do not go in all the way. These gave me the most trouble by far as far as assembling goes.

i had that problem with some of the older ones, i was wondering if you could use a metal file to make the plastic easier to put into the slots

You can, just test fit so you don't get it too small, then you will super gluing,,, ;)
One of Ice Clan's was a pain, but handling and working on em' gets you more in-touch with the figure I think.
Fire had the hardest tail mainly because of the hardness of the plastic....it's actually bendable just like the Fire Clan S1, you just have to heat it up a lot with a hairdryer..after that it bends easily.

I had the same problem with the Ice clan! So don't feel so bad, there's still about a centimeter of the brown peg inside showing...and those two tiny pegs that're supposed to go into the wing further down won't go in either. They just don't work the way they should.
I had trouble getting the Warrior Dragon's wings to fit too, his were a TIGHT fit, and I almost didn't get them to work.
Wing issues seem to be one of the problems that has plagued the entire Dragon line, wonderful as it is.

The pain in my hands always means I just got a dragon line. It just wouldn't be right if everything fit into place without a fight. I was sad I didn't have to wrestle with the Hydra. My hands would have been bleeding after that. Ahh, good old painful dragon's lines.

God, so true, my fingers are always raw after getting a dragon's line. All those damn spiney bits...

Fire Dragons tail was a ***** to get in. I had to use some lube. :p

I had trouble getting Warrior's wings in place too. I ended up using super glue to make them stay in.

I giggled a bit at that. Sorry. :p
But actually I had some trouble getting his tail in too (and then having to bend it so it'd at least keep his base flat on the surface!). I think the Fossil dragon's wings were the biggest ***** to do, him, and the Eternal Clan box set...cause he has this one wing that won't fit...GOD I spent hours just pushing and nearly busting a vein to get it to stay in.

Just run the pegs and joints under hot water first. They'll pop right in.

We keep preaching....lol I used to do the hot/cold water thing...but recently I just bought me one of those mini-hair-dryers for use on my model kits and have been using the high heat setting to limber-up the parts and then use the fan setting to stiffen them back up. ;)

The mini hair dryers work like a charm. That's what I use. But my hands still end up raw anyway.

lol mine get a bit hot from holding them up to the dryer and then stiff when I have to hold a position for awhile.
Any of you guys found the Beowulf Dragon yet ?
He's great...the wings went in fine, but I had to cut a new support pole for him...the included one is just too short for me...and Beowulf is attached by a bendy metal wire so you can pose him getting tossed around in a ton of positions..lol

The beowulf dragon is killer. Really neat design. And, yeah, the bendy wire makes him be able to be posed in some cool positions. I just wish the wire was a tad longer.

I found mine on ebay for around 15 bucks...not bad and he's worth it. ;)

Really ? I thought it should been a bit shorter on mine to get to look like the box pic...but I think he looks better sailing through the air anyway... :D
I thought about ordering that 200.00 Beowulf Dragon wall sculpt but this might be close enough for me...can't wait to check out the film this Friday.

My dragon's wire is too short to make it look like the box. Guess they're not all the same.

Sounds about right...whenever parts are added like this it's usually by someone who just eyeballs it. Looks a bit like painted or coated floral wire...could be fixed ...if you could get to the inside of the mouth easy enough.
