Anyone ever been Wizard World?

Going to the Dallas show this weekend. Is this more of a comic show or are there gonna be a lot of figure dealers?

There are a good amount of figure dealers there. I usually go to Philly every yr.

I have. It depends on what year you go, but there's pretty much an equal number of both, with pretty much all the dealers selling a little bit of everything.

If there's a giant fat man named Billy there selling **** (and there probably will be), kick him the balls for me and say, "WHEAT BREAD, *******!"

It's about 50/50 comics and figures. I go to the philly wizard world every year.

I've been to WW Chicago a couple of times. There's plenty of figures to be had, I skip over the comic booths

I've been to Philly about 4 times and I'm never disappointed. Be sure to bring money and a good memory. Sometimes you'll see a figure for one price, then find it again 5 bucks cheaper a few booths away. It's all about rememberign where the good prices are. Good convention though.

WWLA is mostly garbage.
that's only because we've been spoiled by SDCC. I only went the first year, Long Beach, I was disappointed with it. I haven't ruled it completely out. I'll give it some time to develop.

There are more toy and statue dealers than comic dealers.

Wizard Worlds are garbage compared to Comic Con. But if your in the neighborhood you might as well check it out.

Depends on which wizard world and which comic con. Wizard World Philadelphia is much better than Baltimore Comic Con.

But nothing compares to SDCC.

WW Texas is probably the worst of the wizard shows that i've been to, but i'll still be out there on saturday. :)

Wizard worlds are overpriced, you get nothing for your money. A very poorly run event.

Hit the Chicago one this year, and had a lot of fun. TONS of action figures.
