OT: Skateboards/Longboards

I mentor this kid at church who wants a longboard for Christmas. He's No where near being a skater so I didn't want to get anything too expensive.

for anyone who knows about longboards, what's the cheapest i can find?

why would he want a longboard? You can't do cool stuff on longboards.

Either way, if he's not going to do anything more than mild recreation with it, it's a fine board.

yeah he's no where near a skater nor plans on learning any tricks with it. i guess it's a new thing for him. he has a couple buddies who skate, one has a long board. so the one i posted here from overstock is okay?
