Big Ben home Sunday nite vs CIN (without WR Holmes and 90% precipitation on a bad field)
or
Rivers at KC this morning (Windy and in the 20's/30's)

Rivers.
I am leaning that way too. Any particular reason for you? :)

Other than the fact that you are a Chargers fan this should be a no brainer, Big Ben starts.
Cincy defense is pathetic and it's in Pitt unless they get more rain to destroy the field he will light it up ;)

Rivers has been underachieving this season. Chambers is a huge pick up for the chargers and I think that Rivers is finally starting to get a good feel for this recieving core. Add to that they're playing a huge game against a division opponent, the chargers should be playing some inspired ball today to futher solidify their place on top of the AFC west.
That and if I was a player in the NFL, I'd rather play on a High School field than at Heinz.

Under normal circumstances I'd go with Ben most of the time, just worried about the soggy field issues...

Rivers also looks more comfortable in the modified hurry up they started using last week...thanks

Yeah the field is key I would have hoped the the NFL has fixed the field problems. It may be a mess but it can't be as bad as it was last week. Either guy you chose should be fine, I'm just glad this is a week where I'm already guaranteed #1 in my league and I can afford a loss. It makes it more fun to watch the games with nothing at stake. ;)

It looks like Big Ben has already outscored River before halftime. I know the conditions were iffy but I would start anyone versus the Cincy Defense. Hopefully the decision to start Rivers will not cost you.

I am well ahead luckily but if it had poured in Pitt like it was predicted this morning I just could not go with Big Ben, especially given what the field looked like last week...

I don't know why people are still on the Rivers bandwagon. The guy is not the same this year, and he's proving to be maddeningly inconsistent. Big Ben, however, only had one bad game, and that was thanks to the worst playing surface an NFL game has endured in quite some time.
Always start Big Ben from here on out.
