That's a really cool thing for them to do.

Classy. Now, a classy response by the Bills would be to take a knee on their first offensive play.

very cool, I did get a bit choked up seeing that

They should have showed that no matter what game you get. I'm stuck with the Dolphins and Jets. Pathetic. I'd much rather see the Washington game, especially the tribute...

agreed...they should have shown that

Too bad Buffalo couldn't do the same.

So what did Buffalo do on the first play?

That kinda puts Buffalo in a lose/lose situation.

The Redskins had mentioned yesterday that they were going to do it.

Exactly, what are they supposed to do. If Buff would have scored a TD everyone would rip them and if they don't do anything they loose a play whch isn't fair. Sounds like they did what they were supposed to do.. play ball.

I agree. Buffalo is not out of the playoff picture either so they have plenty on the line in this game.

Exactly. Another board member brought this kind of tribute up & I think while it is a physical showing of Taylor's meaning/loss to the team, it puts Buffalo in a terrible position.

They were very classy by running the ball & running outside so the 'Skins D could get ample time to get to the running back.

Other than Buffalo's first offensive play (the tribute to Sean Taylor) this game has almost been unwatchable.

You can say that for most, if not all, Redskins games.

so they are going to go with 10 players on defense for the rest of the game?

No, it was just for their first defensive play.

Use your head. It was for the 1st play.

Actually I think they have only been using 10 players on offense all season!

Yeah I was at the game, and it was nice to see..Even though the bills got a 20 yard run, it doesn't matter..We honored Sean Taylor.

I was watching the game and didn't know about the tribute and just thought it was another coaching blunder by Gibbs. Now that I'm informed, very good move for the Bills to not expose that.

Yup, bills ran an easily stoppable play, so they didn't exploit it, they just happened to have one of their first successful run plays of the season, bad timing I guess.

I heard that Gibbs didn't know about it.
Wouldn't surprise me considering the conclusion to the game.
how you call 2 time outs in a row...ever seen a game before Joe? yikes.

Gibbs didn't even know about it. It was Gregg Williams' idea, and when Gibbs was asked about it after the game he said "I think I should talk to Gregg about it before I discuss it here" or something like that. While Gibbs is about as classy as head coaches get, I don't think he likes to give any kind of advantage to the other team (except when he calls an illegal timeout to make the Bills' GW FG 15 yards shorter.)

FYI
It was Raiden6 that brought it up...
