key word is mediocre SEC teams. :D You put them in any other conference (maybe not the Big 12 this season), and they come away with a respectable 9-3 or even 10-2 record.

I would agree with your last statement. Ohio State had one of the weakest schedules this year and they walked in the back door. LSU vs. OK would be a better game and IMO crown the champion.

Doesn't matter. If OSU moves up to #1 after being idle then Georgia should move to #2 after being idle. Therefore Georgia should get to play in the Title Game.

Playoff system in college football = regular season. Now I say there should be a plus 1 game.
1 plays 4 and 2 plays 3 and then the winners meet. That is the only thing that is even close to happening you will never get a 8 or more team playoff in college football.

Playoff system is needed and only way to solve issues like this. It can be done and anyone who says it cant be done is ignorant. The Subdivision has a playoff every year and it is great. It decides who the best team in football is on the field.

Right now the polls and computers decide who the best team is. There is noone here or anywhere in the world that can say who the best team in the country is right now. After the bowl games this year noone will be able to say who it is then either.

In all honesty the matchup should be Oklahoma and LSU because OSU is overrated this year very badly and whoever talks crap about LSU is pissed because they know they are good. Check their stats, the strength of schedule was greater than any other team when LSU played the teams they did. They played a few mickey mouse games like all the otehr schools and then played top 10 ranked opponents all year long

not saying that it couldn't happen...but Hawaii came back to win against Washington...at home..after trailing 21-0 at one point...and Washington is not even a 500 team in a conference like the SEC, Big 12 or ACC
