Never had a dragon this bad before. I had to file down the peg in the tail for it to fit on. Then I find out it wont sit on its base at all. The 3 legs are totally out of position, only one can fit on a peg at a time while the other 2 are in the air.

Could fix it if I can get the legs off, but they are jammed on really good, would have no idea were to start lol. Any suggestions, and no pics atm cause batteries on camera be dead ><

When getting dragons properly positioned on bases, you often need a combination of patience and very carefully controlled brute force. Good luck.

What Uwe said, about the brute force. The bigger issue for me is that the tail extends below the base, so that I have to position the dragon at the edge of my shelf so that the base is level.

You have to REALLY and FORCEFULLY bend the tail upward. I promise it'll work, it just takes lots of...brute force, yes. :p The tail won't slide in all the way though, mine sure didn't. :(

Yeah I had some problems with this dragon too. He is fine now after messing around with him a bit. The tail was a real pain to get on, and I could not get him to stand flat at first.

I think this is the 5th or 6th time I've posted these instructions now...lol Just put a bit of water on the tail peg and it will go in, or heat it up with a hair dryer until it becomes soft. Same with the tail and legs, use high heat on them until they become rubbery...then just hold them in the position you need and run it under cold water . Brute force generally just leads to broken pieces and sore fingers... ;)

I did get the tail on no problem cause I had to file down pegs before to fit wings and stuff in on other dragons, but I never done the hairdryer trick before lol

Ill try warming it up, just haven't been really confident on doing things that way before lol

Oh no, i already broke my fossil dragon in 2 when i applied brute force. Ok, will be more cautious with this one. Thx for the tip guys.

There's not much of a down side to using it....your not going to be able to heat it so much it melts with a hair dryer....and if it hardens wrong...you just heat it up again... ;)

Could also toss him in a hot car for a few hours. That will allow the whole body to revert back to the correct position or you'll be able to manage it easier on to the base. Or take a few mins to him with a hair dryer like stated before. If the cut joints/placement of pieces look correct on the dragon (no gaps, mis-glued parts) then it'll probably fix right up with heat.

Just a bump to say that hair drier trick worked like a charm. Its standing on its base with no problems yet lol
