But beware publicity-seeking Jose Canseco. Denied admission to Mitchell’s press conference, Canseco went on Fox News and said he “couldn’t believe” A-Rod wasn’t in the report. In other news, Jose wants to write another book.

Is he ever gonna go away???

I can't believe Sosa or McGwire weren't on there either.

The winner today is Barry Bonds. Now he won't get singled out as much. Most everyone took them at some point. In no way is the list today complete. Those guys were just dumb enough to do it in the open.

They might not have been on the list since they are actually talked about in the actual report.

I can't believe Jose Canseco has done more in bringing attention to the steroid problem in baseball than probably anyone else.
Y Ted Ginn Y?

Canseco has done more but only for his own benefit, lets not make him out to be a saint.

I'm not going to criticize Canseco for saying what needed to be said years ago.

It is kind of funny isn't it? Talk about a guy who totally "*****d out" his career and was probably great only because he juiced so well. Remember, Canseco was a complete and utter TOOL well before the roids became an issue. Charging for his autograph. I think Canseco might be the poster boy for biting the hand that feeds you. I'm not saying it didn't need to be addressed...but this guy is the equivalent of Waingro in the movie Heat. I can't help but think in my mind that if Lou Gehrig could come back and live for one day...he'd use that day to beat up of Jose Canseco... Captain America style.

Seems to me if Canseco has some sort of personal grudge against Arod for whatever reason.

I thought this part was pretty funny....
One of the players implicated in the Mitchell Report was Toronto infielder Howie Clark.
He’s the guy who dropped the pop-up when Alex Rodriguez yelled at him in Toronto back in May. Clark allegedly received shipments of human growth hormone.
So Howie Clark gets ratted out by Kirk Radomski on the same day A-Rod gets $275 million from the Yankees. Alex had the first laugh and the last, it seems.

They would be better off just issuing a list of all the teams rosters from the last 10 years as players that have taken performance enhancing drugs because that would be a more accurate picture of what the sport is
I find it very hard to believe that that only a couple players per team would not be trying to geta competitive edge especially with the knowledge that so many others were doing it.
You really just have to put an asterisks on the last 10 years of baseball and implement a sound check system to prevent this from ever happening again, if that is what they really want out of this.
