Did Parker ger hurt? Davenport is getting carries. I'm watching the stat stream on NFL.com, and it's on the stupid NFL network, so I can't see it. Any help?

Yeah, looked like a toe injury. Got carted off and they haven't given an update on him yet.

Willie Parker was carted to the locker room Thursday night to have X-rays taken on an injured leg.
His return is uncertain. Najeh Davenport is in the game and will play on all downs with Gary Russell inactive. It's believed Parker was hurt while picking up a blitzing Brandon Chillar on Pittsburgh's first play from scrimmage.

He had to be carted off, that doesn't sound good.

I doubt it's that serious. He got 6 weeks to heal.

I doubt that too. He's not going to get healthy and go play in the Pro Bowl and risk injury again.

Mine too. Unless Adrian Peterson runs like a mad man. I could have started MJD instead. Oh well. Too bad I'm playing against LT.

News: RB Willie Parker was injured on the team's first offensive series Week 16 at St. Louis, and if early reports are correct, the Steelers might be without their star running back the remainder of the season. Parker left the game early in the first quarter after rushing once for minus-1 yards. He injured his right leg on the play as he was being tackled. He was checked on the sidelines by trainers before being carted to the locker room. He had taken his shoe and sock off his right leg and had it stretched out on the cart. Parker was replaced by veteran Najeh Davenport in the backfield. After X-rays came back, the Steelers announced Parker would not return to the game. It was later reported that Parker broke the fibula in his right leg, an injury that ended Giants TE Jeremy Shockey's season on Sunday.

They just confirmed it on NFL Network, Willie is done for the year and Fred Taylor gets his Pro Bowl Spot.

Look for the Steelers to re-sign Haynes this week.

Ouch. Well, I started him in one championship, and am playing against him in another championship and one semifinal game. I guess 2 out 3 is OK.... :D

Fantasy playoffs. I am already down a bunch due to rollover points. All pumped to watch "Fast" Willie. The Steelers start on the 4 yard line. Two plays later, he is getting rolled off the field. Good bye championship!
