Custom Reindeer Rudy- no more chestmouth!

This was a fairly quick fix as I didn't need to cut any of the mouth out, and it only took a small amount of sculpey premo to fill it in. Aside from the chest I touched up the paint a bit.

Here's Rudy in package. You can tell he's excited about his impending customization by his caca-eating grin.

And here are the results after baking and paint touchup, most of the paint I left as is, I just made the chest blend in and repainted the lights to look a bit more translucent with metallic paint and stained glass paint, since I've always preferred the translucent style bulbs over the opaque ones which they initially resembled. Also repainted and glossed the eyes, and drybrushed a bit of silver on the axe.

Really nice job, you went with the other extreme of Rudy being more friendly-looking opposed to McF's ginormo mouth. It looks great, though seems a little odd how nice he looks when brandishing a very large axe :p

Thanks for the comments guys. As to the placid look I guess the look I was going for was "stoic," but I'm happy with how it turned out. Maybe if I come across another Rudy I will make something a bit more fierce.
