But I was just looking through all of the figures under the toys section, and holy crap there are some awesome looking figures. I think I might start collecting them now (another thing to spend my money on hahah).
Are all of the figures from the comic books?

Pain, heartache and cost is what! ;)
To be honest, I look at my Spawn figs now and think, with the money that lot cost me I could buy 3 or 4 really nice statues....
Getting them was fun though I guess.

Use caution I started collecting little over 2yrs ago now have about 200 figs loose and MOC
One day you look at a loose fig then next thing you know you start looking for it MOC.
Or you have a MOC fig and you want to display it and then you start looking for a loose one.
It never ends, one day you like or dislike a fig next thing you know your trading it or tring to find it
Its an addiction

i sold off all my spawns and i kinda regret it but it was gettin a bit much
especially now with the rerelease of some of the ones i wasnt able to find like santa spawn i kick myself but im happy where im at with figures now, made the movie to only movie licences (except kratos, hes just so bad ass) and been working in more busts and statues and prop replicas,
but hunting down all the spawn figs was the most fun part

True.
I started collecting loose toys, then I saw how cool they also looked MOC so I had to get the MOC version too. Then I realized I was just boxing the MOC away so I started selling them.

I barely buy any toys at all anymore... they have to be really really really interesting to me in order to even consider it at this point. I guess I'm growing out of it in a strange way. I actually kinda feel bad for men over 35 who still get off on buying toys. It's okay to buy one here or there, but seriously, there comes a time when it's gonna just not be fun anymore. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way.

One wonders if they feel any sense of shame for going to the same store several time a day, every day, day in day out to find a little toy car. Spending hours online at work on a toy board spamming to boost their post count must give them some sense of personal accomplishment limited only to their delusional imagination. Outside, no one really gives a ****.

You're definitely not the only one, man. My interests in general have shifted away from the toy area. Been doing more in the video games and the more adult-aimed *not THAT adult-aimed, you sick freaks!! LOL* board games (Doom, Starcraft, pretty much anything by Fantasy Flight Games. Good company, check them out) lately. Toy hunts have more become something to do while I'm out looking for something else (ie. Going to Walmart for pretty much anything ELSE, and spin thru the toy aisle while I'm there).

spawn rocks! please start to hunt them down...:spawnskul
sometimes i did look at my collection, and i think i could use that money spent to buy several very nice high end statues. But i pick quantities rather than quality... but it doesnt mean spawn toys no quality. i would say you get more than you spent if compares with other same price range toys. especially japanese toys are kinda expensive if they make something has same quality like spawn toys.:o
so...Spawnz are worth to be collected!!!:spawnorb:
