generally he doesnt even look at people when they ask him to sign something
i understand he gets asked alot but he wasnt in a crowd anytime....most there were was 10 in buffalo
i saw blow off little kids in his jersey with less peole around

Ive played hockey my entire life,and know many players in many different leagues and ive never met anyone,or played with any player than Enjoyed hurting someone.
Not to say there arent dirty players,but it was dirty in a way to irrate and get people off their games but never to hurt and end carrers ...

Now on to the Crosby talk,when someone is built up this much in the media he can never win . Fans will believe whatever they want to believe and thats fine but after talking to a Pens player this summer at length,over some beers which was a lot of fun to get stories etc..he was saying Crosby is very well liked and the players really feel sorry for him with the amount of pressure he is under and the demands that are made on him and in this player's words "he handles it a lot better than i ever could,its unreal what people expect"

Did you watch the game even?....look at Blake's face after the game and you will see how hard the punch was. The NHL is reviewing the cheap shot and when known tuff guy supporter Don Cherry said it was the cheap shot of all cheap shots....you know it wasn't just a shot in a scrum.
If you did watch the game....you would have noticed the shots on net for the Leafs and you also would have noticed that the main reason Phili won that game is because how well their goalie Niittemaki played. You make it sound like Phili dominated the game when they did anything but.

Roundhouse, the reason why people are talking about Downie's shot more than what else might have happened during that game is because Downie was playing only his 4th game back since his 20-game suspension and took a dirty shot at Jason Blake. Of course that's what people are going to talk about.

I haven't written Steve Downie off yet. Perhaps he just needs to mature a little. He's still a kid. He needs to play on edge to play his game and just went over the line a couple times.

Domi was completely overrated....and yes it was clowns like you who brought his name legend status with the leafs. Domi started to think he was actually a hockey player in the latter years of his career and lost most of his tuff guy presence because of it.
The leafs are a mess I will give you that....but one day you'll realize that now there is this little thing called an instigator rule which prevents the meat head type reaction to incidents on the ice. Now to reply to the topic. I hate Bryan Marchment eventhough he's outta the league finally. Cheap s.o.b. and in the 97-98 season, Modano was leading the league with 38 points in 30 games and was absolutely flyin. Marchment took his knee out and he ended up with 59 points in 52 games. I think that would have been his 100 point season and a possible Art Ross. Maybe Hart. Who knows. Not that he needs that100 point season to solidify his place as one of the all-time greats. But it would have been nice.

I agree that he shouldn't have come to the NHL straight from the draft, he probably should've either stayed in college or go to the AHL. Ron Low's(who coincidentally hasn't been given a head coaching job since his travesty of a Ranger team) thinking was that Blackburn was better off playing 20 NHL games than 60 AHL games(it wasn't their intention to have him shelled, but then Richter had his concussion problems). But Blackburn could be beaten high he needed more time to develop, he dropped too fast. However, he was phenomenal down low. He could've been great. I'm not complaining about having Lundqvist instead though.

You're absolutely right. He's had conditions that include having 2 HOF defensemen in front of him for a big portion of his career, and many other great defenseman(ie.
