Well I had to wait 6 weeks for them to be built so I thought I'd share. ;) I also picked up a DCU penguin today, but these were way more fun.

...and for all the toy guys I grabbed this today at TRU, passed on the 6'5 Batman.

Those are really nice, and Ludwig birch sets sound sweet. Here's a shot of my maples:

kick ass, the way your toms are set up is kinda weird but that green is really nice. It looks really good with the brown on the snare.

I play too.......the trombone that is.

Seriously--I was president of the marching band my senior year in high school. Lord of all nerds.

But anyhow, that's a beautiful set you've got there.

I try to play as diverse as I can, but Ive got to admit I love my rock. Punk rock mostly, also I like funk because there is so much you can do with it, and it gets your head moving.

LOL, Thanks. I too was in the school band. We sucked, so I ditched it and started a punk band!

We were actually good--so it was lots of fun. We went to Canada and Disney World and won several awards. I was in concert band and jazz band as well which meant I not only played for all the football games with marching band--but also all the basketball games. Sometimes I even go back for the alumni band performances (my brother in law is the former band director's son so I have that family tie/obligation).

Do you gig a lot?

Yeah, my band actually went on to get an independent record deal. We toured a bit. Fun stuff.
