Hey everyone,
Just thought I'd share this very special day in my life with my friends here. Today I proposed to Stephanie, my girlfriend of the past 3 years, and of course she said yes. I thought I would also share the pictures of the setup I had for her to arrive home to, and the picture of her ring............I will also include a picture of both me and Stephanie.......this will be the VERY first picture of myself I have posted here on these boards in my 3 years here.......so now you will all know how much of a nerd I am :D
I had called her a couple hours before, and told her that she didnt have to worry about coming and picking me up after I was done work as I would be stuck there an extra hour or so, so I would just give her a call when I was done. So when she got home, she had no idea I was already waiting for her. She walked in to find a dozen long stem roses upon the kitchen table and a trail of rose petals leading out of the kitchen, which led to a note in the living room hall-way. The trail of rose petals continued into my sports room, where I waited until she got there, and then got down on one knee and asked her to marry me. Of course she said yes, and the tears flowed.
As of right now we have put very little thought into the idea of when/where/how the wedding will be, most of those decisions will be hers to make. All I know is it will be in 2009 at some point, probably June.
But, I thought Id share this moment with all my friends and brothers here on these boards, you guys are like my second family and I love each and every single one of you guys. Enjoy the pictures as I know me and Stephanie will enjoy each other's companies MOST of the days of the rest of our lives :D
