I was walking though Wal-Mart marveling at the massive quantities of absolutely nothing when I came upon......"Platoon" figures.
Seriously, I thought I was I was hallucinating, but there they were.
This is the only pic I could find, I didn't buy them because they looked like crap, but I'm thinking of going back and getting them just to have them.

A Walmart near me was resetting stuff but I didn't see those.
Going from the pics they don't look good.
I did see the ML Icons (if they are still called that). This is the one with the Spidey and the dark grey Goblin.

I would buy "Full Metal Jacket" figs. I wouldn't care if they looked like Mexican wrestler repaints. :D

Basically the same as their new Vietnam figures, with different heads.
Skip the figures and use the vehicles for your Joes.

Yeah, I want that Huey. Still probably gonna buy the figs. I mean, "Platoon" figs. How weird is that?
Anyone know where I can find a 1/18 Vietnamese village girl? I feel a diorama coming on.

I saw the 1:18 Huey advertised on the backing of those Platoon figures. We better get some or else...

It would be nice. I got their first one, but never saw the other 3 they put out.
They go for quite the clip on eBay now.

That's the thing. Rerelease these suckas so I don't have to spend $150. Old stock of 21st WWII planes are showing up at TRU, it would be nice to see some choppers go up as well. Sad thing is most of these 1:18 models went on clearance with their initial releases.

Well it's been several years since the last release of the Huey. The Sahara one was scrapped, and we've yet to see if the Platoon one will make it out.
They need to re-release that Super Cobra, too.

Boy those look like ****! I love that even though his screen time is maybe 5 minutes they're making Johnny Depp's character. Lame.
