I've recently gotten into the AvP franchise after watching AvPR, and falling in love with the original ALIEN. For you hardcore fans of the series, is the McFarlane 2004 "refresh" series that hard to come by? I have a loose Alien that I bought MOC for 15 bucks a couple of years ago at a con, and I recently ordered a loose Predator (w/bloody skull) for 23.00 bucks shipped. Yesterday, a good friend sold me his loose ALIENS Warrior for 20 bucks in good condition.

Did I get fair deals on these, or did I overpay (or should I have waited for NECA's stuff?)

Fair, relative to your desire to aquire them.

NECA's alien warrior from AvP:R is well worth getting. The detail and atriculation are amazing!

Not too bad I guess. I don't remember it being so hard to get, just the Aliens warrior seemed a bit tougher to find (due to the popularity of the figure).

Grab NECA's figures too though, the alien is fantastic, without a doubt. Makes a great army builder.

It's a good line. Definitely worth getting.

Get the NECA AVP-R Alien for sure, good POA, and intricate detail.

Or you could wait forthe 18-inch original Alien.

I am getting my Neca Alien Warrior on Tuesday.
They say is worth getting it out of the box too.

I have seen prices on these pretty high on the bay. Moc predators i have seen 35-50 dollars a peace.

I Like the AvP refresh better than MM6 :D

The only Alien and Predator figs made by McFarlane that aren't worth anything are those awful AvP series 2 diorama sets.

Damnit, I'm pissed. I woke up this morning to find a headless Alien warrior on my carpeted floor! I just got it two days ago, and yet I spent all morning trying to glue the head back on. I don't know if I should be angry with McFarlane, or the friend I gave my 20 bucks to.

Any more warriors I get will definitely be NECA ones.

Ouch, did he take a suicide dive or did it just...come off?

No idea. I just saw it lying on the floor by my shelf, and something wasn't right. I then put on my glasses and noticed it's head was gone! I then found it a few feet away, and the peg had apparently snapped in half. I did manage to glue it back, but unfortunately, I can't pose it's head anymore. At least it wasn't my original Alien figure, which is one of my favorite McFarlane figs.
