Custom Christian Bale....

So a while back I posted a thread of the 1/6 scale Christian Bale head I commissioned. As we all know paint can make a or break a sculpt. I sent the sculpt to Figuremaster Les to have it painted and here is the result....


The collission of talents between sculptor and painter here is truly remarkable. Andy Bergholtz and Les Walker = Perfection.

Decent likeness, but I wouldn't call it perfect. Something's off in the lower half, and I can't figure out what, perhaps a weak chin. Either way, though, it's cool.

Wow that is amazing. There never seems to be a shortage of talented sculptors willing to sculpt heads for 12" figures. But they are never any who want to tackle 7" scaled heads . :(

I actually think the lower part is dead-on. The lips and mouth expression.

I first saw Les's work with his repainted Sideshow Anakin, and have followed his stuff since.
