Since August 2007, TMP has been paying all brokerage / custom duties and taxes, etc. for Canadian orders. You only pay one shipping charge upfront and that is it. Try it on your next order and see the difference.

Hey Matt
Are UPS really billing you guys the same outrageous fees (example more then half the retail value of the item) that they used to bill us Canadians....and if they are ....why the heck are you still using them as a shipping company:D

We are not paying the same amounts our customers saw.
In the end, does it really matter? The point is, our canadian customers don't have to pay it anymore!:D

No ...to the customer it doesn't matter now....but it would sure open the company's eyes about how badly we were being ripped off if Mcfarlane was billed the same outrageous brokerage fees that each individual Canadian customer was in the past.

I received plenty of feedback and from Canadian customers and board members. You among others have helped make this change to our way of business. Our eyes are open to what happened which is why the change to place back in August.

I'm glad you guys as a company "get it" and kudos to Mcfarlane for absorbing costs in order to make Canadian customers happy. Now if UPS and Fedex would realize how much hatred Canadians have for them because of the over-charging on brokerage fees maybe they would "get it" too.
I think these courier companies are raking way too much profit from these fees so they just turn a blind eye and a deaf ear instead.
