Does anyone know of a clear leveler for a bar top that you pour on? I cannot find it but from wnat I understand it exists! I want to custom paint the top...then pour this over to protect it...any ideas?

Most commercial bars use an epoxy resin and hardener like this...

The epoxy resin finish is a little harder to apply, but it has the real deep gloss finish. For less money, you might be able to just use multiple coats of a good gloss polyurethane. It will give a good hard glossy protective surface, but the epoxy resin can be built up to be very thick. Hope this helps.

You can also just google "bar top finish" and you'll get other products/ideas. Hope this helps.
WOW...it's amazing what one word in a search can change!!! I was putting in bar top leveler...haha, just needed finish instead! I'm thinking of cutting my old Lynch Jersey and Brooks to put in the top and painting the logo in the middle...this should work thanks a bunch!!!

It is has been a long time in the making!!! I honestly wish i had more time to spend on it, there is a couple cool ideas I have...but as we are building things keep changing. I'm not even sure what it will be once we get to the end of the road with it. I will post pics of it undecorated...then a couple months later with everything in place.Once I have it decorated I'll be happy!

As an Eagle fan you should be happy that one idea has been scratched for now...we were going to put a bathroom in the basement...but that is on hold for the time being, it was going to have toilet or urinal with the Eagles logo square in the bottom of it...and yes I'm serious, that would have been too funny when my friends come over and they have to use the bathroom!:D

LOL. Well if you do put the logo there you can always stare at it when you are tossing your cookies after having one too many... ;) :D
