Watched the first episode of this on cbs(?) last week. Aparently its been on showtime for like two seasons already. Thought it was pretty good but I get the feeling its a HELL of a lot better unedited for network tv. Anyone a fan of this show?

Yea I figured. I didnt even realize it was edited until there was a really bad voice over of mother ****er but after that I couldnt help but notice it. Thats when I looked it up and realized it was a Showtime series.

I've heard great things about Dexter but haven't had the time to give it a good look yet. Isn't the first season already out on DVD? I should check it out.

I think it is. Its available on iTunes so I would assume its in stores too :confused:

yes you should. Though there isn't anything all that graphic in the original, it's better to see what the creator intended, as opposed to what the sensors want you to see.

Oh, I have no problems with graphic content. That's not what has been holding me back from the show. I just don't have the time right now to check out a new series.

I've watched this on showtime from first episode until season 2 finale. Excellent series!

I wouldn't even bother watching it on CBS with all the commercials and edits.

Do yourself a favor and just buy season 1 on DVD for $30

Definitely pick up the dvd, it regularly sells out at my store, but you shouldn't have any problems getting it. It's useless to watch it on CBS, and cheaper than getting cable, unless you already have Showtime.

yeah, its in stores, I saw a few of them last week, but didn't pick it up.

I've only seen the edited version, but I've since fallin' in love with it! :D

i'm more of a movie guy than watching series, but i've heard so many great things about this show, so i'm currently downloading the torrent, then if i like it i'll buy it... i love serial killer-movies so i can't wait to see it.
