Halo 3 HAUL! EDIT: White Spartan now too!

Picked these two up today. The cellphone is there for size comparison. Although they are a lot smaller than the regular McF figs, the articulation is awesome - especially on the Spartans.

nice though!I chose to skip MC because he the one in series 2 has more weapons. They also had a red and white Spartan but I went with the EVA instead.

It looks like Master Chief will be the easiest one to get, most Walmarts are running out of Spartans, Cortanas and Grunts but he's hanging around.

Got me a chief, white, and red spartan (love the dome helmet). I'll make a pic thread when I get around to taking pics.

And the articulation is great, 18 points, so don't listen to haters that say they can only be put into a couple of poses.

The figures looks great, but the sizes are disappointing.Trust me, size won't matter when you realize how much articulation there is. I was kinda disappointed by the size at the store today too but once I opened the figures - especially the Spartan, wow! It's a lot of fun to pose him!

Just be careful with stuck wrists, cause my MC's right wrist was stuck and when I tried to turn it it snapped.

Are they hard to come by or something?I usually check www.silversnail.com for new McF or figure shipments because they update their site. However, 401 is close to my house than Silver Snail so when I see SS gets something, I call 401 immediately to see if they do. Sometimes they do, other times they don't. I called this morning and they said no but had a shipment coming in and said to call back later to check. I called in the afternoon and they had them in so I went down to pick them up just as they were opening up the boxes. There were lots when I got there but I'm sure they'll sell fast.

I posted pics of my haul today in the other main Halo 3 threads, but what surprised me most was my Wal-Mart experience.

I strolled in at about 2 or so this afternoon and the end-cap with all the new figures looked like it was set no more than 5 minutes before just for me! Not a single figure gone. Heck, it looked like none of them had even been touched! There was only ONE Cortana figure there that I snatched up first and foremost.

After being an avid Star Wars figure collector for so long, I'd never caught new figures like I did today. It was a rare occasion I don't expect to encounter again. Needless to say I took advantage of the new end-cap and grabbed everything I needed to finish Series 1.

I have mine in my Joyride warthogs right now, the Blue team vs the Red team, lol.. they look so funny giants sitting on the back of the hogs, lol... I'm gonna have to scour some GI Joe vehicles to see if I can find something warthog-ish... I already have a spare terrordrome that I got in a trade to turn into a Coagulation-ish base, can't wait to start on that!!
