come on now you know all the homer picks are going to come out. Anyone who is a fourtyshinner fan will vote Willis and anyone who is a USC/Seattle fan will vote Lofa. Look at the numbers- Honestly unless there going to do a draft pick figure for Willis I think he needs to prove him self. He had one season, ONE not two or three. The guy did have a great year but lets not get over excited and claim he's the next LT. I'm so ****g sick of hearing about how great Willis is from all the 9er fans on here. Lets talk after next season and see what not only he did but the 9ers defense as a whole. Deal?
Agreed. Niners fans had nothing to be happy about last year so of course they're all going to ask for a figure of their only bright spot last season in Willis but it's still too early. Atleast Lofa has been consistent for 3 seasons now although he didn't put up beastly numbers his rookie year like Willis, he's a three time Pro-Bowler in his first three years.

true, so i'm guessing you don't condone an Adrian Peterson SP? like you, i also want to see Willis produce another year before an SP is made. i would rather have.... ummm... uhhhh... damn, the niners dont have anyone worthy of an SP. :p well maybe Bryant Young/Larry Allen before they retired would be the closest ones

Good point with All-Day, I forgot all about him. I could also argue/be a homer and mention that he runs to the left alot where holes are being created for him by Steve Hutchinson (the Seahawk that shouldn't have gotten away). That's who Shaun Alexander enjoyed running behind when he was here and when he left, SA got pummeled and deteriorated. However Shaun has two SP's so I don't really see how any of this correlates or where I'm going with this but whatever.
I'd of course love to see quite a few Seahawks players made but do I think any of them deserve to be made? Lofa Tatupu, yes.
Strong considerations: Julian Peterson and Patrick Kerney (if he has another big year).

If we are really going to talk about unis I have to toss my .02 in. I don't mind the Seahawks unis, except for the neon green (or seafoam or whatever the hell they call it). The green just looks really tacky, especially when players like Deion Branch insist on using green gloves. Their white jerseys with the little blue patch on the upper sleeves are pretty lousy, though.

I'd have to say that the new Vikings unis and the current Bills unis are the two worst in the league. The Vikings' road whites aren't too bad, but their solid purple is just garish and hideous, imo, and the base design of their uniform really sucks. I guess I could say the same about Arizona's new unis. They seem to have both been designed by the same people, and come off like arena league uniforms rather than NFL ones. Buffalo's retro blue unis with the white helmet are great. I can tolerate their all dark blue ones as well. It's their white jersey with the blue shoulder panel that is the real eye sore, combined with the red helmets.

The original question was "which would you rather see?", not which is more deserving. Imo that means that a choice based on which uni is better looking is valid. The Niners have better uni's than the Hawks, end of story.

Patrick Willis had 174 tackles his rookie year and made the pro bowl....so he's one for one...Lofa had 105 tackles..infact the most tackles he's had in a single season is 123...not even close to 174. Willis is the real deal..174 tackles is frickin phenomenal, one year wonders only have 100 tackles not 174...the only people that can't see that are...HOMERS or Figure Skating fans

i dont think that seattle has a better defence at all, give seattle the iners offence and gove the niners seattles offence and see how much of a difference there would be...willis wasnt the only player with 100 tackles last year for the niners

i have to disagree with you there. as much as i hate to admit it, the Seahawks have a better overall defense no matter if they had our offense. Wow! Hommeriffic comment indeed. Our defense for the most part carried us last year as our offense was one dimensional (no running game). We have multiple contributors on defense as any competitive team should while the Niners only have Patrick Willis for opposing offenses to be afraid of. I just love how every year no matter what happens in the standings or whatnot, there's always atleast one Niner fan on here who think they're still on par with the Seahawks. Face it, we've owned the NFC West the past few years and will continue to do so until the rest of the division gets better. In my opinion, the Cardinals have looked the most improved, followed by the Niners and then the Rams.
I still really can't understand why you would say the Seahawks defense isn't better than the one player San Franciso defense. Need I remind you that in the obvious two meetings last year, we outscored you 47-3. Don't give me the "we were banged up excuse" because when you guys beat us twice two seasons ago, we had very similar problems injury wise including missing Alexander and/or Hasselbeck for both games and you guys wouldn't hear it, thinking you were the better team, although you still didn't even win the division.
I'm not trying to say that the Seahawks defense is some powerhouse but it's much more than what you think of it and especially compared to what the Niners are bringing to the table.
