Haven't pulled the trigger on the NECA Wolf yet. I've been trying to stay away from six incher's when all possible. I will however pick up the Hot Toys Wolf Predator once its released in the US.

I really do think the only thing keeping me from buying that figure is the arched chest, it's just wrong and odd.

probably cos of the usual neca quality, terrible paint on the weapons, bad paint on the pred, and that ugly UGLY seam on the unmasked head.

The quality on these are 10X better than those brittle McF ones.The Masked Wolf is by far the best 6" Predator to date. I sold a case of these and eded up keeping two, masked and unmasked. The seam on the unmasked one does stick out like a sore thumb. But they are both nice.

Can the Predalien stand without the base? That is the only thing keeping me from keeping one. I have not opened any of the ones I sold.

opened it up and messed around with it, and it's not as bad as the usual NECA affair. paint is decent, but the lack of weapons on him is ******ed.

The only Neca problem i had was with V. One of his knives broke.

i have both the masked and the unmasked one and they are pretty sweet. the seam on the unmasked one is a bit of an eyesore but you stop noticing it after awhile. I think NECA has been doing a kick-ass job with thier stuff recently. The Alien warrior is amazing and although i havent gotten the predalien yet it looks pretty good. That being said i have never owned any figures with as much propensity for taking shelf dives as these two predators. NECA really should have included a base with them. They keep falling over even after i put them on a POTC base. It seems that the ankle pins are a little weak.

Did you get the unmasked one? I can't help but feel the mask wolf got short changed in the accesory deparrtment compared to the unmasked. Plus the unmasked head is just so damn cool. Any one hear any back story to why the wolf's eye if funny and the missing mandible?

Wolf shows scarring on his left side of his face, that's why he's missing his mandible, and it APPEARS he's probably blind in that eye.

And the quality of this Pred is the best there can be for a fig like this. I'd love to get the other Preds like this someday.
