I saw them in stock (1 case) bought two for me, two for a good friend and one for a boardie. The other guy (wearing a Venom shirt) who raced me to them got the other one. Gone.

Same company--Takara. Typical case of prototype to final product. Those lazy bastards...these had so much potential. Hey! What do you know, Takara also makes the MP Starscream.

Wal-Mart exclusive Transformers are notorious for being in short supply and not lasting long. I have collected TF's for many years now, and if you EVER see an exclusive (at WM, Target, Best Buy, where-ever) buy two of them, and keep one to sell (or help out a friend who slept in late).
I remember a simple exclusive Rattrap from Beast Wars. I saw him one day (about 15 or so), wasn't impressed, so I didn't buy. Went back two days later, all gone, never to be seen again (except on eBay).

I'm from Columbia, Missouri. 3 walmart stores because part of the Walton family lives in/owns the town. No Starscreams, No Halo, nothing. Seeing how I worked at Wal-Mart until last summer as a dept manager, let alone the toy dept, I know of 3 scalpers in the area. Whenever they see ANYTHING with exclusive on the package, they buy them all. If they don't do well, they get returned a few months later.

A great example of this was the Star Wars Cantina sets from around Christmas. I saw the guy fill his cart with them (I had already quit working there) and head up front to check out. Never saw anymore of them at all at that store. About a month ago, all of them magically reappeared on the shelves.

I was able to pick up the Steel Halo figure from EB in the mall however, but Cortanas and Covenant were gone.

Gotta love Ebay.

My local Walmart sucks like hell. Never ever had stocked nothing good like Spawn, ML Face-offs, Transformers exclusives, DCSH (only series 1), Halo, not even own Walmart exclusives. Damn it :mad:
