Thats about the sculpt and paint detail I would expect on a 4 inch or smaller figure. Because you can't get as much detail on something small. How big is it?

Yeah, seriously, what's up with the scale? They're like 10'' or something? Which I guess puts them with those Mego-esque figures they released a year or so ago? But they'd look like crap together.
But yeah, I saw the Spidey, and thought the looked really cool. . . but didn't understand the scale they put him in.
Maybe they are hoping people will take D-Compose's suggestion and start collecting a whole new line?

It's funny, the Star Wars Unleashed figures were this size, but statues.. and people always asked for ML like articulated SW figures and Hasbro always answers that it's not something they plan on making.. and here they get the Marvel license.. and come out with these unleashed figures, that have articulation, lol.. I wonder if it's something more like Lucasfilm not allowing them to make them.. just doesn't make sense to me.


OH.. and they're about the same size as the Sigma 6 figures too, in case you wanted to get some of those to go with them ;)

Of course it's not in scale, the Marvel Unleashed figures have always been bigger than the standard ML sizes.

There are things I can do to him paint-wise to improve him, but unless I do a Gattaca on him I don't think I can make him that much bigger.

He wasn't going to go with the regular ML line.

I knew he was an odd scale but figured I could make him work. I'm sure he'll look fine within some of my other stuff; just not the stuff I have out.

Black Spidey was there. Looks like it's 3 to 1 in Spidey's favor.

Just like most I like the villians which is why I picked him up.
Price is the main reason why I don't own the others. Well, that not entirely true; I didn't like the Goblin or Spidey. Black Spidey is fine, but I don't need another.
