Yup.

The only reason I even remotely liked Hitman was because of the GORGEOUS female that follows Timmy Olyphant around.
When I first saw her in the flick my jaw hit the floor.

I'll be picking up No Country on Blu-ray later today. I'll post a review of the disc on my blog (http://mediazealot.blogspot.com) sometime in the evening.

That guy didn't look even REMOTELY close to the actual Hitman. I mean, I never played the games, but I know what the Hitman should look like, and the movie failed at that.

 you do realize that Hitman is a video game right? How the hell are they going to find a living person to resemble a fictional person? I'm pretty sure the artist's rendition was based on several people and simply blended them into one. So going by your logic, the movie Patton should be considered crap, seeing George C. Scott didn't have the same high pitched voice that Patton had, carried more weight and had a wider nose then the real life general.

I bought "No Country", and "Hitman".
Yes, I know "Hitman" is crap, but it's the kind of crap that after time seems less like crap and more like supercrap.
I know I'm in the minority, but I actually liked "Hitman". I'll probably pick it up today.

i got em both, hitman has some real bad dialouge but it seems like one of those movies from the 90s that are far from top notch but just seem to work

I picked both of these up at bestbuy yesterday. I enjoyed Hitman for what it was, but I've never played the games so I had nothing to compare it to so there were no expectations going in. Haven't seen No Country yet but I heard it was a great movie.

I rented Hitman from the Red Box (McD's) - $1.08...not bad especially the scenes with the gal that was following him around!!! That was worth $1.08......

Not to mention the guy was more chatty than the actual Hitman over like 2 games...
Ray Stevenson or Eddie Jones would have been PERFECT for the role.
Oilyphant was a VERY bad choice IMO.

Does Hitman have alot of action in it?? And how is the pacing between action and dialogue scenes? Because if what people say is a bad movie has enough badass or over the top action scenes, it just offsets the dumbness of the film for me. But if its like action scene....yaawn...........sleep......mediocre action scene......credits, then i'll pass

I got No Country For Old Men for myself, and Dan In Real Life for my ladyfriend, both for $30 at Best Buy. I was gonna get Hitman, but then I remembered that I don't like movies that look terrible.

There's a lot of action, but none of it is that well done and the story is just terrible.

No Country was awesome. Totally different than what I expected. It actually made you think while you watched. Nice to see something different than the crap Hollywood puts out nowadays.

Huh, I never posted my comments on the movies. No country was freakin great. Chigurh was like a freakin Terminator. A lot of tense moments and decent action. Acting was great IMO. The end really potrayed to us how we can go through hell and back and not accomplish jack.
Hitman was ok, mindless action. Timmy Olyphant was ok, but I probably could have pulled off a better Hitman(yes I have a little acting experience). Plus I have had people tell me I look like the Hitman from the game.

The thing with Hitman that turned me off.....was the actor.....and it was not even his "acting" ...what really just stuck at the back of my throat the whole time was how he looked........he seemed so small..now I'm not saying that the hitman is some hulking super hero...but he's pretty much.....oh.....that actor from the two Transporter movies...that type of deminer and aggreson, with that same type build to his body......this guy they picked for play the part of hitman didn't even look as thoughhe fit in his coustum...he looked lost it int...like a kid caught wearing his dad's work suit.......and YES the tat on the back of his head is an iconic symbol.....but if you're this big bad hitman trying to portray him in real life....wouldn't you try and cover it up with some make up or something when out and about in every day life so you DON'T attract attention?....that would have been a cool reveal to the female counter part in the movie where mid way she see's his tat through some masking make-up and he confesses his past..or what he is to her....add some pointiy to the film....also I could be wrong but isn't the hitman a clone? are they not all clones? not some darkangle ripoff that they tried to portray in the movie?
