I was just wondering how this figure will Compare to the Kotobukiya Statue?

I am not trying to hijack your thread Brik.

Does anyone know if the 12" chief will be a up sized version of the 5" chief with the same amount of articulation, or more of a statue like more of the larger McFarlane figures?

I was thinking of buying it for my Son.

Since I already own the Kotobukiya Version.

On topic, I hope that the 12" figure will have ample articulation. With all the HALO stuff being hinted at in the works, I hope that the articulation gravy train will be a long ride.

i agree...i would love to see more HALO stuff, as well as more articulation in other lines, from Mcfarlane.

Hear that McFarlane! We like articulation...so long as it doesn't damage the sculpt.

In comparison to the Kotobukiya statue, the McFarlane Chief will actually be larger in proportion since the statue scale includes the ground base the Chief is standing on.

It should be a good seller since the statues were an apparant hit and will be half the costs.

:D I do. 12 inches or 12 feet, I have high ceilings.

Yeah, McF guys, if you're reading this...PLEASE give the 12" MC the same articulation that teh 5" figure have.
