21x20 piece of Heaven

Here are some pics of my newly remodeled garage. Prior to this, it was nothing but wood framework and cobwebs. Now it is my Heaven on earth. This is about $6000 worth of work and furniture. Someone asked if anybody ever bought anything else from IKEA other than the Detolfs. Well, I did. The tv stand, bookshelf, dresser, computer shelves, the pillows, fleece blankets and of course the Detolfs came from IKEA. I have another couple hundred figs in storage above this room. I don't know if I will display them or not. I'm thinking of selling off a large portion of my collection to focus on statues and busts.
As you'll be able to tell, I am a big fan of Shi.

nice collection as well, but when are you going to make/paint some nice backdrops for those kickass lotus angel warrior custom paints :D

i changed my garage into a hobby room as well, it's been a "work in progress" for far too long now and it's a total mess at the moment cause i have no time to clean it up AND i'm adding more shelves and such myself in there, need a time machine to speed up the process :D

That's a very nice looking setup. I wish I could finish my display room--it's going on two years now. Although I've been away at college for the better part of 18 of those almost 24 months.

Yep! Stacey Augmon. My favorite player other than His Airness. I've been a fan of his since his high school days. Unfortunately his career wasn't what it could have been. I think his game became too affected by the media said about his jumper. His early years in Atlanta were pretty succesful, but once being traded to Detroit his career and numbers took a major downfall. BTW, that drawing and one behind it are signed by him. I also gave a different one to him that he really liked.
Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I hired a contractor who has done some work for me in the past. He did a great job and his quote was much lower than others that I had received.

I went to HS with Stacey Augmon. He was a very nice guy.

No I didn't. I just followed his career after reading about him. A big name back then was Tracy Murray,(Glendora High?), who evrybody was so high on. Stacey is the man(to me at least) and I have had several things signed by him. The stories behind the signing art what I treasure.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. Yeah, this is a cool frickin' place to hang out. My two boys and I will be making Saturday nights, "Boys Night Out", while we play games or movies. Tomorrow night, my best friend will be coming over, so we can triple team Ghost Recon 2.
I'll have to post close-ups of the Samurai helmet tomorrow.
