**UPDATED** BBTS Exclusive Spartan and Yellow ODST info

I just received this e-mail from Joel. I will let you read it and judge for yourself.

Hi - The owner of this exclusive has recently warned us that they may not be able to fill our order in full. It appears they have decided to allocate inventory on wholesale orders, most likely to go to their retail orders. We have closed our preorder down, about 60% of our initial order quantity has been pre-sold. I just wanted to let you know that there is a possibility of a shortage on this item, but we'll do all we can to get enough to fill our preorders. No new preorders are being accepted, and each cancellation means there is less and less competition for the inventory we will receive. On a bright note, BBTS has just negotiated our own series 3 Halo Exclusive with McFarlane, limited to 3,000 pieces, and it will be announced tomorrow {Friday}! There will be no shortages on our own exclusive :)

On a side note, you can pre-order the series 3 set of 9 from BBTS, and it will include the Violet CQB. The pre-order is priced so that each figure is about $10.45 each, which ain't too shabby!

I just ordered one. It's funny how I said I was only going to by a Brute Cheiftain and I end up getting every variation of the spartan instead. haha.

If it makes you feel any better, it's actually a tan ODST, not yellow

I think the color is still a mystery. The picture shown at BBTS and EE was tan, but both have Yellow listed as color. This is curious because the standard Scout Spartan is listed as Tan, so I take that to mean that Tan and yellow are different.

I don't know for sure, but I would HIGHLY doubt that they would include both the Hyabusa & Recon in the same wave the first time around. I would think they would save one to make series 4 more appealing.

no confirmation yet, however we do know that a Hayabusa's being worked on from that Shadow teaser from awhile ago because it was the teaser of the pauldron and the katana

that link is where I discuss a lot of what I've been seeing in terms of Series 3 lineups. it's all speculation but that's the same retailer list that I saw last month complete with the updated listing for the Weapon Class Chieftain instead of the Captain Major

Hey Spud.. I would just order it... Seeing how those are limited to 3000.. I'm sure they are going to go fast and highly collected. At least get a couple so you can use it as trade bait down the line for something you will be looking for.. At least, that's what I'm doing.. I ordered the pack of 9 and added 3 more violets..
