Enough of the argument that Ovie plays with crap players. Semin and Backstrom ring a bell? Have you seen that Caps powerplay? Ovie, Backstrom, Semin, Green, now Fedorov...that is one hell of a deadly powerplay..the guy plays with great players same as Crosby and Malkin.

Ovie just happens to believe in the ol' credo, you can score if you don't shoot!!! He shoots the most, so he scores the most. Its that easy.

Really? I don't catch a lot of Thrashers games (they end too early out here), but from what I have seen he always plays well.

Well what can you say some of these people believe that the Thrashers are going to sign Campbell, another top notch defenseman, Prospal, along with others to right the ship. I hate to burst their bubble but I would not be suprised to see pretty much no one come to atlanta in the offseason. They pretty much see it as he losses all the time and blame him even though the whole team is horrible and the defense is even worse. The 3rd period was like what the entire season has been like. The Thrashers never being able to clear the puck from their own zone allowing 40+ shots a game at their goalies. While they are lucky to break 15 shots for the game.

First to 60 since Jagr and Lemieux both did it in 1995-96, Bure came close the two years he won the Rocket Richard with 58 and 59 respectively. I don't know if Ovie can hit 70 though, they only have 7-8 games left and he'd have to get almost 2 goals per game to get it done. I think the Caps have what it takes to make it into the playoffs, and if they do Ovie gets the Hart hands down.

Not sure who you're talking about on the Pens? Then Pens have a few guys that are phenomenal talents and grinders, same as the Caps. Think Ovie plays with just as much talents on HIS line and powerplay as Crosby and Malkin do....they are just all amazing players. Gonchar? Green is better. Stall? He is a shutdown centre. Who else? Hossa? Hasn't even played 10 games yet and won't be with the Pens next year

Best player in the NHL. Congrats to him and a great win for the Caps. Lehtonen was pissed, but then again he has kept his team in the last several games and has had more than 40 shots on him most of the time.

Because he is the dirtiest player with talent. He likes to throw big hits, and his knees will get taken out or will get a concussion. NHL players have a way of "weeding out" players like Ova chicken. I would LOVE to play the Craps in the playoffs in the first round. I could go to all four games in the first round! Two in Pittsburgh, then Two in Washington..then move on to the second round..

On a serious note, Congrats to Ovie and his fans. He is truly a great player. Not the best, but certainly a great player.
