I've been to all but the latest one, they're ok. I wish though it hadn't ruined the market for the other seattle show that happened at the seattle center. Those seattle cneter ones are all gone right?

As of right now, hubby and I are going to try and make it .... with his work schedule and me flying out every Sunday night and coming home every Friday night, its been hectic lately. They think that because I have my degree I can fix the other offices ! LOL

It has a good guest list. It's not one of those local events with a bunch of dealers behind tables peddling their treasures.. A little more credible here.

It also has more comic stuff ...not alot of action figures.

The old Seattle Comic Con is still on at Seattle Center. It's a fraction of the size it once was. Better for bargins but selection is sparse.

Was going to go, but money is a little tight around here so I'm saving all my cash up for a trip to visit family in August.
I'll definitely try to go next year!

so is this a con that alot of people do cosplay for? or is it more of just a comic show, and mostly sales tables?
BiBLE

There is a fine line between cosplay and reality when you go there.

Couldn't find my birth certificate so there is no way I can make it across the border...
LMK what you guys found.
& for what you guys think not- there are usually plenty of toys there-
in 06 I found a Black Mandi there for about 1/3 the usual e-bay price.

I was there saturday for a short time, I picked up a set of the halo vehicles for $15 and a white spartan with silver shoulders for $16.
Being that this con is larger than most regular cons around here it's getting to become what I consider a comicon level event. I've always associated "comicon" as not just a comic convention but a term associated with a comic convention with a certain size and the extra events like panel talks, costume contests, and other misc events not usually associated with just a room of comic and toy dealers.
This event did meet it's name, the 501st NW was out in force and there were also other people who dressed up as other comic characters. There wasn't alot of non SW costumers like at SDCC but I believe given time the percentage of outfit layden people will grow.

Pretty weak Con imo and it appeared to be a bigger turnout than last year. I usually go to buy stuff but I couldn't find anything new aside from Iron Man movie figures and those aren't even new. Too many dealers brought in old junk looking to sell it at a premium and anything slightly new was double the price of TRU which I found at TRU later in the day. You'd think stores owners would attend the show to promote their business. I'd never step foot in one of those stores based on the prices they ask. I understand people don't want to leave without buying anything but I did just that.
Also, why do fanboys think it's a good idea to never shower. The BO stench was at a all time high. I guess the cat piss showers are working again in Renton. I doubt I'll ever attend this Con again.
