My buddy is a die hard Habs fan and he plastered his son with Habs gear and chanted "Go Habs Go" to him on the very first day he was born!! And that boy is now just over 2 years old and has learned to talk and he has already taught his son to chant "Go Habs Go" and "Leafs Suck!" LOL!!

You couldn't be more wrong, a favourite team can be learned right from birth, even if it is just on a subconscious level. The seeds can be planted straight from the womb!

Been a Sharks fan since day 1 in 1991. Born and raised in San Jose, I actually was never into any pro sports but excited my hometown got it's own pro team. Never really watched hockey much either before obviously as there was none here, but I've been watching NHL hockey since then and also been playing hockey for 17 years now because of the Sharks. :D

Ottawa currently holds the largest collection of my favourite players, I've cheered for them since high school. But if they got rid of my favourite players, I wouldn't care about them.

That said, no matter how terrible Edmonton is, I am always interested in watching their games regardless of who's playing (i'm sure if they committed to it, they could ruin that for me).

I think based on that assessment Edmonton is my favourite team.

BTW... For all the Preds haters on here, I got my playoff tickets yesterday for $21.00 each. Even if it is only two more games, I get to see the Dead Wings for less than some of you pay for parking. That being said, I'd much rather have a team with a slight lack of fan support than an always sold out team where it will cost $45.00 to sit way up at the very top of the arena! :D :D
