So i got the wolf predator (both versions) and the predalien in the mail a few days ago, and upon arriving home from uni this is what greets me:

SO i prop them up and stick some blue tack under their heels to help them balance.

And this is what i find in a couple of hours time!!!

I don't think it's the case of those figures couldn't stand, look at the one on the right.. looks more like he fainted, you should consult thejikas to fix your problem

You need to twist the hips to spread the legs a bit & center the gravity then it will stand no problem.

Figs with tails always suck. Try a dab of low temp hot glue. It won't damage the fig and it holds as long as no one touches anything.

just keep posing them, until they stand right, i had to work with mine a while, to get them to stand right.
finally this issue has been brought up. totally agree that the preds and hybrid can't stand for sh**. i've finally succeeded though...i hope. it's amazing how they can take great pains to get the details, sculpt and stuff right but then forget 1 basic aspect of an action figure - ability to stand upright:confused:

Man, this is what I hate about NECA...some of their figures are quite nice, but eventually the ankles loosen out and start to tip and fall

Unlike every single one of McFarlane's AvP Preds, right?

I really hate it when this happens. It's especially annoying when a figure's been standing fine for like a year and then it just suddenly falls over for no reason at all :\
As far as I'm concerned stands should be obligatory with a lot of figures. Doesn't have to be more than just a flat piece of plastic that plugs into their feet, just as long as they come with something to keep 'm standing.

It's really bad when figures don't have peg holes, and the funny side is figures with not pegholes can't stand really well, simple great.

I love those figures with stands and over time you see it and it's legs are still in the stand but it's bent sideways.. I had a couple ML figs do that, storms legs were bent at a right angle sideways, lol.. and some spawn figures where they were still in the stands but were practically laying down.

When the stands doesn't work try with others, i had that problem with Hermione, her stand wasn't good for her, i put her in other, and the problem was solved.

It's the lack of decent leg articulation is what I say. My McFarlane Predator has NEVER fallen, and it's all due to the right balance in his legs. My NECA Alien hasn't fallen either, with him, it's all in the tail.

I got both of those Predator figures over the weekend, and neither one has fallen off the shelf. It's probably just a balance issue, and the articulation is good enough that you should be able to find a pose where they won't fall.

yeh im sure he will, just like the neca crow figure - hes fine for ages, but he gradually starts slanting, and slanting, until hes leaning too far forward that he tips his base!

mine are the same...(pose is important) however some figures articulation might be loose, that can cause this...
Just to be on the safe side - I went ahead and got 2 bags of bases from Mcfarlane. They are clear, small enough not to be obvious, and do the job, so you can get a bit more imaginative with the figures without thinking too much about balancing them..

Drill holes then stick in bases.

The Bald AOA Bishop I received in the mail today is a mean bastardo to stand as well. Seems like alot of the Marvel Legends are a bear to stand.

They stand properly. They just fight when you're not looking. Round 1 goes to Hybrid. Round 2 Goes to the Preds.

I have to say, as much as I have been liking Neca lately, they are unbelievably stupid not to include stands with all of their figures... especially the ones as of late. Hardly any of them stand on their own.

I honestly think some of the Marvel Legends were cast by psychotic trolls with no conception of human anatomy at all.

that's what you get when you display your predators with aliens... they don't get along well you see :D
anyway, my preds fell the first day, but i've since made adjustments and they've been standing for 3 days straight
still no luck with the predalien though... that stupid piece of ****
