Ever since they were released the page has said "keep checking back for more info on Halo Points."..

So will we ever find out what they are for? Also for those who want to guess try to think of what they might allow us to redeem em for. (maybe like the Katana for the figures for the back..) Or maybe they will just be for special backdrop printouts or something...

Just wondering but will these Halo points only be useful for people within the US or will European/Asian buyers also be able to redeem them? I'd be kinda crappy if it was US only, to be honest... I got like 200 points already and European/Asian buyers already got stiffed when it came to the blue/silver exclusives :(

I think it'd be cool if it was a support weapon like a flamethrower, missle pod, turret, etc.

I wonder it'll be something useless like a new character skin for the online game....

Also hope that they don't expect you to be an army builder to get enough points to get anything. ( then there will be 101 threads of people complaining and / or begging for halo points. )

seriously getting sick of waiting to find out what these are for. it would be nice to know in case they're really worth something decent and I need to collect more of them while series 1 is available.

Yeah, with them selling out everywhere, some kind of indication of what it is, and how many points you need would be nice.....

I'll take a stab at it, you guys landed the Halo movie property. Really, it's a logical conclusion... you guys have halo 3, and the rest of the property. Why not the movie as well?

I still think they'd be much better if they were traditional McF 6" scale, but my little steel CQB (what the hell does that even stand for?) Spartan is pretty neat. I like playing around with the bugger.

My biggest complaint though is whoever thought the thumb should be removable should be fired, that dumb thing is annoying as sin to have to take on and off to move his gun, and half the time it just pops off at random when you're moving his arm, and of course it's a teeny tiny little black piece. No, that's not easy to lose :p

I should probably just glue it in.

As has been said, if it turns out that only US folk can use these points to get cool things, then that will suck beyond my tolerance levels for things that suck!

Weapon packs would be the best thing I think. Joyride got it right with their Halo toys and released Master Cheif several times with different weapons, I think it's one of the biggest selling points for Halo toys, that and the new armour variants.

Also, I do agree that it better not be a case of having to aquire pretty much the entire line just to get enough points to get whatever cool thing will be released. Needing 100 points would suffice.
