Halo Points- What are they good for?

Any other options? I DO care, but I don't think any of the options you listed are it. The Brute is way too expensive to be a give-away, the Security armor will most likely be in a later wave and i highly doubt that they would give us crap like bungie keychains or posters. I am thinking weapons or a color variation that will not be available in retail, so they can have several waves of "exclusive day-glow green" spartans. I personally hope for the weapons.

I hope that's the case, but last week someone posted that another site had the recon replaced with a silver Mark VI.

I would vote for Security armor if it said "Recon armor" instead. I think it's pretty clear from the rescinding of the figure from the "regular" line that this figure was never meant to be distributed regularly but was some kind of special item, and Halopoints makes just as much sense as anything.

I'm wondering if it's going to be a singular item ( a fig / a weapons pack) or if it will be a catalouge of items....

If it's a singular item like a lime green spartan, then there likely won't be much demand after everyone gets 1 or 3...

If it's a catalouge of stuff, then it'd make sense, since it would keep the halo points thing going through all the future series.

(unless the singular item costs an arm & a leg in halo points, and you need to be an army builder for 6 series to come close to getting it. :rolleyes:)

Maybe your just suppose to carry them around in your wallet so when someone doesn't believe how many halo figures you have you can prove it to them?

BBTS is notorious for holding onto old information longer than it should and having pre-orders up for months after an item has been canceled.

They're also fabulous for leaking photos from sell sheets earlier than other sites and in providing original lineups that are subject to change.

Huh, the results of this auction are interesting thus far. Looks like most people just want to know what (if anything) they're worth. I can respect that.

However, I certainly hope that after all of the hub-bub, they are worth something.
