Does anyone know what kind of turtle the TMNT are from origin?
You know, before they were tossed into some sewer and came in contact with the Ooze.

Before all that. What kind of turtle were they?
Were they snapping turtles or sea turtles?
Tortoises or terrapins?

Guess there were common sea turtles, that little ones that you see in pet stores.

there werent sea turtles...i beleive they terrapins...which are commonly confused with sea turtles...
