I hope this idiot gets a severe punishment:

reported on Speed Channel's SPEED Report by Bob Dillner, per FoxSports.com (http://msn.foxsports.com/nascar/story/6141792): Emotions definitely flowed over to the postrace activities as the guys walked to the garage area. After the ****ies 500, the #10 and the #29 teams were coming down the entrance way to the garage area where all of the teams bring their pit boxes. There was an altercation between the #10 team and Kevin and DeLana Harvick. Apparently, Kevin and DeLana both got knocked down. NASCAR's Jim Hunter told me they are investigating the situation wholeheartedly and expects that there will be fined and penalties either Tuesday or Wednesday. "After the fact, right out of the moment, everybody's pretty hot-headed (and) got to running their mouth a little bit," Richard Childress Racing Director Mike Dillion said. "That's about all it was. Somebody got shoved, and they're sorting it out now. But they shoved Kevin and his wife down in front of the pit box is what was bad. Everybody out here has done it in their racing career at some point in time. It's just unfortunate. The guys need to let the drivers handle it. One of the NASCAR officials got hurt trying to stop the box," Dillion continued. "That's pretty bad, too. Hurt his ankle so they took him to the infield care center." A lot of people were called to the NASCAR trailer after this race, including Rodney Childers, the crew chief for Scott Riggs and the #10 team. He's responsible for the actions of everybody. DeLana and Kevin Harvick were both brought in as well. Several eyewitnesses were brought in. In fact, Roger Penske was up there talking to NASCAR President Mike Helton and Nextel Cup Series Director John Darby and everybody that was looking at the incident

Are you a Nascar fan? Have you played Nascar Fantasy yet? Whether you're an avid fan who is tired of the same ole sites that are boring and take forever to update or just someone who has always wanted to try Nascar Fantasy and yet hasn't gotten into it yet, this is a great site to check out!

www.luckydogracing.com

The premier site for Nascar fans to get together and try their skills against one another.
This site is a salary cap league that lets you change your 5 drivers each race of the year. The object is simple, you pick five drivers from four different classes of drivers based on their respective performance levels. You stay under the salary cap, drivers salaries varies from $5000 to $50000.

This league has Cup Series, Busch Series, and Truck Series levels. You start in the Trucks and work your way up depending on your personal performance. Each series has little bit of a difference in the rules, but for the most part, they are very similar so its easy to learn and very quick to become very good at.

Perks of the league are a message board, power guage (your performance of the last five races), stats and records of the members, virtual trophies of races won and an actual trophy is mailed to the winner of the Cup Series! Also, each member that makes it up to the Cup Series gets a virtual stock car for their team with sponsers you choose.

2007 will be the fourth year this league has been around and it continues to grow each year. Come join in now and beat the rush for next year! And after you check out the site and determine that you want in, tell all your friends while there are still open spots left.

Some quick rudimentary math to see the scenarios for next week. All these scenarios assume that the driver wins the race and leads the most laps and none of his competitors earn bonus points.

For Jimmie Johnson to clinch the title:
A finish of at least 12th or better even if Kenseth gets maximum points.

For Matt Kenseth to clinch the title:
Win and lead most laps with a Johnson finish of 13th or lower.

For Kevin Harvick to clinch the title:
Win and lead most laps with a Johnson finish of 21st or lower and a Kenseth finish of 4th or lower. This would result in an identical tie between Harvick and Johnson which Harvick would win due to the tiebreaker of most wins.

For Denny Hamlin to clinch the title:
Win and lead most laps with a Johnson finish of 21st or lower, a Kenseth finish of 4th or lower, and a Harvick finish of 2nd or lower.

For Dale Earnhardt Jr. to clinch the title:
Win and lead most laps with a Johnson finish of 30th or worse, a Kenseth finish of 10th or worse, a Harvick finish of 4th or worse, and a Hamlin finish of 3rd or worse.

The rest are mathmatically eliminated.

Biffle dislocates shoulder in crash

December 8, 2006

LAKE BEUNA VISTA, Fla. (AP) -- Greg Biffle dislocated his right shoulder in a fiery accident at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and was unable to attend the Busch Series banquet Friday night.

Biffle was injured Thursday during a tire test for Goodyear in Las Vegas. He blew a tire, causing him to hit the wall between the first and second turns. The accident broke the fuel pump and caused his Ford to burst into flames.

Kyle Busch, the other driver at the test, was trailing Biffle at the time of the accident and helped Biffle escape from his burning car.

Biffle flew home to North Carolina after the accident and was examined Friday by Dr. Jerry Petty, who discovered the injury and advised Biffle not to travel to Walt Disney World for the Busch banquet. Biffle finished ninth in the series standings after running in 30 of the 35 events.

Biffle apologized for missing the banquet.

``It was a privilege and a great pleasure for me to continue to be a competitor ... in NASCAR's Busch Series this season,'' he said in a statement. ``I love racing in the Busch Series and I plan to continue to do so for many years.''

Goodyear tested tires Wednesday and Thursday at Las Vegas, which added 20 degrees of banking this year. The tire company must find the correct compound to bring to a NASCAR-sanctioned test at the track in late January, and the Nextel Cup event there in March.

Stu Grant, Goodyear's director of worldwide racing, said Biffle's failed tire was being sent back to the Akron, Ohio, plant for analysis. Grant said the right front tire failed without warning on the 36th of a 40-lap run.

NASCAR champion Johnson breaks wrist at golf tournament

By JENNA FRYER, AP Auto Racing Writer

December 10, 2006

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- Nextel Cup champion Jimmie Johnson broke his left wrist when he fell out of a golf cart during a celebrity tournament, his team said Sunday.

The injury occurred Friday at a tournament in Lecanto, Fla., and will prevent him from driving for at least four weeks. The injury was to his non-shifting hand, and he should be able to participate in preseason testing at Daytona International Speedway next month.

``I was in a golf cart and the driver took a sharp turn,'' Johnson said in a statement. ``I wasn't holding on tight enough, landed awkwardly on the ground and heard a little pop. It was a fluke deal, but fortunately we're in the offseason and I don't plan to miss any additional time.''

Johnson will not be able to compete in the Race of Champions Nations Cup at the Stade de France in Paris next weekend. Johnson, who teamed with Jeff Gordon and Colin Edwards to win the Nations Cup in 2002, said he will still travel to Paris as a consultant for Team USA.

He was scheduled to team with X-Games champion Travis Pastrana in Paris. A replacement for Johnson was not immediately announced.

``It's disappointing that I can't compete ... but I'll definitely be in Paris to cheer them on and provide any support that I can,'' he said.

Johnson wrapped up his first NASCAR championship last month and celebrated it Dec. 1 at the annual awards ceremony in New York City. It capped a whirlwind year for Johnson, who won the Daytona 500 and the NASCAR event at Indianapolis Motor Speedway en route to the title.

This is the second consecutive year that NASCAR's reigning champion was injured during the offseason.

Tony Stewart broke his wrist and bruised his ribs last January when he flipped a car during a qualifying race for the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals. Stewart's arm was placed in a cast, but he was able to compete a month later when the season opened at Daytona

NASCAR champ horsing around when hurt

By JENNA FRYER, AP Auto Racing Writer

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- Jimmie Johnson was ``horsing around'' on top of a moving golf cart when he fell off and broke his left wrist, his team told The Associated Press on Monday.

The version clarifies what happened during the celebrity tournament in Lecanto, Fla., one day after the initial account from Hendrick Motorsports implied that the Nextel Cup champion had fallen out of the cart.

Although Hendrick officials gave no details of the accident, Johnson released a statement that said he was ``in'' the cart when he fell out.

``I was in a golf cart and the driver took a sharp turn,'' Johnson said Sunday. ``I wasn't holding on tight enough, landed awkwardly on the ground and heard a little pop.''

That account differed from one in Monday's edition of The Citrus County (Fla.) Chronicle, which had a reporter at the Black Diamond Ranch who witnessed Johnson horsing around during the Mike Hampton Pitching In Celebrity tournament.

The newspaper said Johnson was sprawled across the top of the cart Friday as it headed toward the 16th hole when his playing partner hit a berm, throwing Johnson several feet.

Johnson was unavailable for comment Monday, but a spokeswoman for the driver confirmed he was on top of the cart when The AP asked for clarification.

``Jimmie was horsing around and was on top of the golf cart when he fell off,'' spokeswoman Kristine Curley said. ``He wasn't trying to deceive anyone and is sorry if anyone believes he was being untruthful.''

The injury, which was to his non-shifting hand, will prevent him from driving for at least four weeks. He is expected to participate in preseason testing at Daytona International Speedway next month and should be fine for the season-opening Daytona 500 in February.

Johnson will not be able to compete in the Race of Champions Nations Cup at the Stade de France in Paris next weekend. Johnson, who teamed with Jeff Gordon and Colin Edwards to win the Nations Cup in 2002, said he will still travel to Paris on Wednesday as a consultant for Team USA.

It's the second consecutive year that NASCAR's reigning champion has been injured during the offseason, and Johnson is the second driver in less than a week to get hurt.

Tony Stewart broke his wrist and bruised his ribs last January when he flipped a car during a qualifying race for the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals. Stewart's arm was placed in a cast, but he was able to compete a month later when the season opened at Daytona.

And Thursday, Greg Biffle dislocated his right shoulder when he crashed while testing tires at the reconfigured Las Vegas Motor Speedway. His car burst into flames during the wreck and he was helped to safety by fellow driver Kyle Busch.

Top Ten NASCAR Driver Letters to Santa
Frontstretch Top Ten
Kim DeHaven and Amy Henderson

10. Dear Santa, I know I asked for a lot of candy last year, but this year, I have 28 reasons to want more. If you give me a sweet deal, I might jump all the way to Mars.

Always a good boy,

Ricky Rudd

P.S. – I left you a Snickers bars and some hot chocolate out on the Ford. And don’t forget to grab some Pedigree for the reindeer!

9. Dear Santa, Remember me? Not too many NASCAR team owners do, either, and as a result, I have had to take a part-time job. This year, could you please bring me a competitive ride in any of the three big series?

Steve Park

P.S…On the table is a Big Mac and fries left over from my last shift.
8. Dear Santa, You know I love my brother Kurt dearly, and his wife even more than that! Could you please bring me a better memory for 2007? Eva, errr, Erika, would be forever grateful.

Sincerely, Kyle (Mom’s favorite)

P.S.- I left you some cereal and milk on the mantle.

7. Dear Santa, I’ve tried to be a good boy all year. Sorry it didn’t work out at Chicagoland. But can you please bring the Kenseth fans something really cool to get them off my back? Like, drop Kurt Busch down their chimneys so they can pick on HIM for a change. And tell my teammates to stop passing me, they’re making me look bad.

Yours, Jeff Gordon

P.S. – There’s milk, cookies, and a couple of cans of DuPont’s best red (for the sleigh) on the table.6. Dear Santa, I don’t really need anything this year. Except one thing. Can you do something about the commercials? Don’t young, hot women have fantasies about me? Can you put them in my commercials instead? I really need something to do in between takes.

Thanks, Kasey

P.S. – There’s milk, cookies, and some assorted Mopar parts for you on the table.

5. Dear Santa, All I want for Christmas is some new front teeth.

Hugs, Kurt Busch (Mom’s favorite)

P.S. – Thanks for the ears and nose! I left you a cookie and three cans of Miller Lite. Drive safe, especially in Maricopa County.4. Dear Santa, I know I haven’t really been a good boy this year. What fun would THAT be? Anyway, I need some new stuff. Three whoopie cushions, a can of itching powder, and a pack of exploding golf balls should do it. And while you’re at it, can you bring me one of those robot vacuums to clean up after the damn dog? My wife won’t get off my back about it.

Your naughty but nice friend, Kevin

P.S. – There’s Reese’s on the table for you. Lots of them. They don’t agree with the dog.

3. Dear Mr. Claus, I have, as always, behaved myself this year. It was a great year and I’d like to thank my sponsor. But seriously, do I have to be so freakin’ PC all the time? Would it make me such a horrible person if I just said something that hadn’t been run through the PR mill, like a normal person? I just want people to like me. And while you’re at it, I could really use a roof rack. Just deliver it to my friend Mike Hampton. It’s for his golf cart.

Love, Jimmie

P.S. – I left you some milk, cookies, and a gift certificate for some lovely new tile on the table. Next to the big trophy. My wife kicked it out of bed.

2. Dear Santa, Thanks for the new red underwear you sent last year. This year, can you please bring me something to drink? As great as my sponsor’s product is, I have forgotten what all other beverages taste like.

Your friend, Junior

P.S. – I left you Cookies and Bud on the kitchen table.

1. Dear Santa, Look, I’ll get right to the point. I’m not retiring. Ever. I want you to take back the rocking chair you left last year. And the cane from the year before. And all the Viagra – no, scratch that, I’ll keep that – and the T-shirt that says “old fart,” AND the prune juice. I don’t want any of them. See you at the track next year. And the year after that. And the year after that. And the year after that. And…

Sincerely, Mark

P.S. – There’s prune juice and cookies on the table. See if YOU can fly for four hours after drinking that stuff. Oh, and there’s a AAA membership for you too, in case Blitzen blows a motor.

C'mon, Posse. The guy was goofing around, no big deal. I actually think its pretty damn funny that he can goof off like that. How many of us (who golf) haven't messed around on a golf cart.
I'd bet you any one of us would get on top of one of those cart roofs, had one of our buddies dared us.

It's all good fun. No reason to bust on my driver. They all do it, the stories of Junior & Stewart are pretty 'legendary' too.

Hell I think this whole thing should make all the JJ haters come around a bit. People hate him because they say he's a stick in the mud, and has no personality.
From what I understand he's anything but that behind the scenes, and when he's hanging out with other drivers.

Jr. and Theresa have Never gotten along..............they just kept it well hid. With her comments in the Wall Street Journal, it all came to light.
At the heart of the matter, Jr. wants a piece of ownership in DEI and she is unwilling to give it at this point. He also has commented at Daytona Practice how he wishes DEI would be more willing to give better equipment to compete (think Harvick last year with Childress).
Supposedly Theresa has withdrawn herself from the neogiations to help speed them along. Richie Gilmore said that all should be squared away by May.
Jr. doesn't want to leave the company his father started nor do they want him to leave because they would be afraid of Budweiser leaving with him and all the rest of the sponsers for that matter.

NASCAR driver Truex charged with disorderly intoxication

January 23, 2007

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Two-time NASCAR Busch Series champion Martin Truex Jr. was charged with disorderly intoxication after an officer saw him urinating in a parking garage, authorities said.

A Volusia County Beach Patrol officer observed Truex, 26, urinating on his own car Saturday morning, according to a police report. Capt. Rich Gardner approached Truex and said, "I hope that's worth 100 bucks," the report said.

According to Gardner, Truex responded with, "It is worth 100 bucks," and he held out a $100 bill.

"I got a ticket for doing something stupid," Truex told The Daytona Beach News-Journal on Monday.

"It was a stupid mistake and I'll never do it again."

Gardner repeatedly asked Truex to place his hands behind his back so he could handcuff him before Truex agreed, according to the report. Gardner smelled alcohol on Truex's breath and charged him with disorderly intoxication.

Some more changes coming this year:

CONCORD, N.C. -- NASCAR continued to tinker with its races Tuesday by revamping the format of the annual All-Star event to make it more exciting and easier for fans to follow.
The Nextel All-Star Challenge will now be run in four 20-lap segments, and the field has been expanded to include at least one more driver.

The announcement came one day after NASCAR tinkered with its title-deciding Chase for the championship system, and the sanctioning body acknowledged that all the changes could initially confuse longtime fans.

"The changes to the Chase, as well as the All-Star event, were a collaborative effort that we put forth to make it easier for the fans to understand," said Steve O'Donnell, vice president of NASCAR's racing operations.

"We know that's going to take some time, as with any change takes some time. But we believe both decisions are headed in the right direction and will make the sport more exciting."
The All-Star event, held annually at Lowe's Motor Speedway, will now be a total of 80 laps with breaks between each segment. There will be an optional pit stop after the first segment, and a 10-minute break after the second segment in which teams will be allowed to work on their cars.

There will be a mandatory pit stop after the third segment, setting up one final 20-lap dash to the $1 million grand prize.

The All-Star race is only open to drivers who have won races in the current and preceding year, past All-Star race winners, Cup champions from the last 10 years and the winner of the Nextel Open, a qualifying event held before the main race.
Now, the field has been expanded to include both the first- and second-place finishers of the Nextel Open, as well as one driver voted in by the fans.

NASCAR also changed the procedure of its Pit Crew Challenge, which will now be seeded similarly to the way the NCAA tournament field is set. Crews will be seeded based on their 2006 season standings, and the top eight teams will have a bye in the first round.
As the competition advances, the final eight teams will be able to choose their opponent for the next round in order of seeding. The final results will be used to set the pit selection order for the All-Star race.

NASCAR, Lowe's officials and Nextel have always been looking at ways to keep the All-Star event fresh. Now that the Hall of Fame is coming to Charlotte, NASCAR is likely looking to tie the race into either induction ceremonies or other Hall events to turn the weekend into a major event -- much like the NBA All-Star Game.

The race has been tweaked over the years, and most recently was a 90-lap event that started with a 40-lap segment, followed by a 10-minute break in which teams were allowed to work on their cars. That was followed by a 30-lap run, a yellow-flag pit stop, and a final 20-lap dash for the cash. The field was also inverted during one of the segments, with the fans voting to decide on how many cars to switch. The inversion has now been eliminated.

I liked the random inversions, it gave the race some strategy...but Nascar has to redo the rules so new fans can better keep up .

Wow must suck to start out the year with a negative points total. What the hell was Ray doing? All his teams got fined and crew chiefs suspended.

Penalties Announced: 4 Crew Chiefs Suspended, Fines, Points Taken Away: UPDATE: NASCAR announced Tuesday that four Nextel Cup Series crew chiefs have been suspended from competition, starting with Sunday’s season-opening Daytona 500. Two of the four – Ken Francis, crew chief for the #9 Dodge driven by Kasey Kahne; and Robbie Reiser, crew chief for the #17 Ford of Matt Kenseth – have been suspended for four races and fined $50,000. Also, Kahne and Kenseth were penalized with the loss of 50 driver championship points while their car owners, Ray Evernham and Jack Roush, were penalized 50 car owner championship points. The violations by the #9 and #17 teams were found during post-qualifying inspection on Feb. 11. Both teams’ qualifying times were disallowed. Two others – Rodney Childers, crew chief for the #10 Dodge driven by Scott Riggs; and Josh Browne, crew chief for the #19 Dodge driven by Elliott Sadler – have been suspended for two races and fined $25,000. In addition, Riggs and Sadler were penalized 25 driver championship points while their car owners, James Rocco and Evernham, were penalized 25 car owner championship points. The violations by the #10 and #19 teams were found prior to qualifying. In each instance the violations were of Sections 12-4-A (actions detrimental to stock car racing), 12-4-Q (car, car parts components and/or equipment not conforming to NASCAR rules) and 20-2.1E (unapproved aerodynamic modification) of the series rule book.(NASCAR PR)(2-13-2007)
UPDATE: On Tuesday, Roush Racing appointed Chip Bolin, long-time engineer on the #17 team, as the interim crew chief for the remainder of Speedweeks at Daytona and throughout Reiser’s suspension. Jack Roush stated, “I respect and accept NASCAR's determination that the car was out of compliance as it was inspected after Sunday's qualifying attempt. I have asked (Roush Racing President) Geoff Smith to evaluate whether the penalties assessed are unduly harsh for the circumstances before making a final decision as to whether or not we will appeal the severity of the penalty imposed." Smith said, "The extreme harshness of the penalty surprises me given NASCAR's recent history of imposing lesser penalties on habitual offenders engaged in radically more flagrant rule offenses. For that reason, I am likely to recommend that we appeal the penalty assessment, although I have some more study to do before I officially make that recommendation."(Roush Racing PR)(2-13-2007)

Severe penalties levied against Waltrip Racing
Two MWR members ejected, Waltrip loses 100 points
By Dave Rodman, NASCAR.COM
February 14, 2007
06:54 PM EST

tNASCAR announced Wednesday that it has confiscated the primary car of the No. 55 Toyota team that competes in the Nextel Cup Series with driver Michael Waltrip, as a result of rule violations found during pre- and post-qualifying inspection for the Daytona 500.

Crew chief Larry (David) Hyder and the team's vice president of competition Bobby Kennedy have been ejected from this week's events at Daytona International Speedway and suspended indefinitely. Hyder also has been fined $100,000.

NASCAR also penalized Waltrip with the loss of 100 driver points. His qualifying time from pole day on Feb. 11 was disallowed.

Team owner Elizabeth (Buffy) Waltrip has been penalized 100 car owner championship points.

The actions taken by NASCAR resulted from violations of 12- 4-A (actions detrimental to stock car racing), 12-4-Q (car, car parts components and/or equipment not conforming to NASCAR rules) and 20-15.2C (gasoline must not be blended with alcohols, ethers or other oxygenates).

When asked how long indefinite might be, NASCAR vice president for competition Robin Pemberton said "that's very long. When it decides it wants to, the team can apply for them to be reinstated."

Pemberton added that ejections were not open for appeal the National Stock Car Commission.

NASCAR cleared Waltrip's back-up No. 55 Camry to participate in Wednesday's two practices for Thursday's Gatorade Duel qualifying races, but it never left the garage. Pemberton said at 6:15 p.m. ET the car had not yet cleared inspection.

The confiscated car and the parts related to the violations will be transported to the NASCAR Research and Development Center in Concord, N.C., for further inspection.

NASCAR said the investigation of the confiscated car is ongoing.

When asked how long indefinite might be, Pemberton said "that's very long. When it decides it wants to, the team can apply for them to be reinstated.Pemberton added that ejections were not open for appeal to the National Stock Car Commission.

NASCAR cleared Waltrip's back-up No. 55 Camry to participate in Wednesday's two practices for Thursday's Gatorade Duel qualifying races, but it never left the garage. Pemberton said at 6:15 p.m. ET the car had not yet cleared inspection.

Scott Eggleston will serve as interim crew chief for the No. 55 Toyota.

What started as an agonizing inspection process for Waltrip on Sunday turned dramatic following his Daytona 500 qualifying run.

Before qualifying began Pemberton said an inspector in NASCAR's engine checking area "caught a substance inside" the car's manifold in its initial pass through inspection.

Pemberton said, "We didn't know what it was," so that manifold was immediately seized and would be shipped to NASCAR's tech center in Concord, N.C., for analysis.

It was nearly 2:30 p.m. ET Sunday and a number of cars had already made their qualifying runs when Waltrip's car cleared engine inspection.

Apparently NASCAR wasn't done acting on what Waltrip and his employees called "oil" in the manifold. The No. 55 team replaced the manifold and Waltrip qualified before NASCAR seized the car. Waltrip ran the 24th-best speed during qualifying, after 11th-place qualifier Matt Kenseth's speed was disallowed.

Now, Waltrip must start his Duel at the rear of the field and race his way up to one of the top-two positions among the cars that do not have a guaranteed spot in order to continue a 20-year streak of starting the 500, which he has won twice.

Kenseth's and Kahne's infraction were deemed the exact same as far as severity as Johnson's last year. The difference in penalty had more to do with a progressive discipline approach by Nascar.
Rigg's and Sadler's mishaps were discovered before qualifying so no real damage done, that is why they received less penalties.
The 17 and 9 were discovered after qualifying just as the 48 was last year.
Waltrip was a biggie because he messed with the fuel and that is a Big Faux Pas in Nascar.
Gordon didn't receive a penalty, well..............I am at a loss on that one.........anyone have a valid reason why the 'can't do wrong kid' skated free and clear?????

#24-Jeff Gordon will start 42nd in Sunday's Daytona 500 after failing post-race inspection following the second of Thursday's two 150-mile qualifying races. Because the infraction -- the rear panel was almost an inch low -- was not considered intentional to create a competitive advantage Gordon will be allowed to keep his victory in the race. Robin Pemberton, NASCAR's vice president for competition, said no further penalties would be levied against Gordon's team. It was the third straight day NASCAR's governing body passed out penalties at Daytona International Speedway. Gordon was unaware of the issue until informed during his post-race interview. "That would really suck," he said. Pemberton said the shock fastener and spacers used to hold the rear shocks that are installed during pre-race preparation for restrictor plate races were misaligned. He said it likely was a mistake made by the mechanic. "We felt it was unintentional," Pemberton said. "Actually, it was unsafe. We felt it was a part failure and unintentionally done."

Maybe that is why. It wasnt even that big of deal. He did get penalized by having to start in the back.

of course, its not a 'big deal' when it comes to Gordon, that is why its not 'cheating'.

Damnit, Marlin lets up to let Wallace in which eliminates Mayfield.

Being a huge Mayfield fan, that left me  My Dad is a huge Marlin fan, so when I go over to the house on Sunday to watch the race I will have to give him crap about that!

I remember when everyone said the same about Earnhardt Sr. .... I guess when you are a winner and the best of the best the little guys always gotta talk smack.

Seriously - wow, people really hate Hendrick Motorsports. Gordon didn't get caught cheating, he failed inspection b/c a part broke, but everyone is calling them cheats.

I don't hate Hendrick Motorsports. :o :o :o

I actually like Gordon, and ever since JJ showed up in NASCAR I like Jeff more. :p :p :p

Like Gooker said Jeff didn't get caught cheating, he just failed inspection, he leaves the Cheating up to JJ's team and the ringleader Knaus!!

Funny article on the MSN homepage today. Number 5 should give you a bit of a laugh.

Keep this in mind too. We only know about the times drivers get caught with something. Who KNOWS how many we don't know about, that slip through. Who knows.....maybe even the likes of Smoke or Jr. do it too. (Noo, never....)

Wow, that was a great race. Kvapil got too far out in front allowing Sprague and Benson to split him a mere 100 yards from a sure win.

The last Earnhardt insert #ed to 99 is pretty sweet. I pulled a ton of numbered cards but none that were this nice.

Nice, too bad the firesuit cards had to be dumbo.
