This toy I bought at the FYE store has a bunch of defects on the left side of it. The elbow on the left arm is hard to move and the left hand had snapped apart (off of the peg that is connecting it to the arm). The left leg at the hip area is very loose. Any help?

I have a Blue Mark VI with a bum left hand, but from what I've heard I'm stuck with it.

Just contact customer service and they should be able to help you. Just keep this in mind, you're not the only one.

I have looked at the Customer Service page. The snapped-off hand could be considered rough damage. My nephew was the one that tried to move the hand (it was a gift for him and he's the age required for the toy). I really do not know if he really played rough.

Think they might refund the money but from what i heard from people is they will not exchange exclusives since they are exclusives for certain stores. They had to pull down the exclusive White Mark VI cause there were not supposed to sell it. But again this is just what i gathered reading all the threads complaining about the exclusives. I emailed them about my white mark vi still sealed but broken but no reply. Maybe they are real busy? I suggest contacting support on the site send a email explaining this. What do you have to lose?

These are opinions i have gathered from posts they are not facts or official release on this site saying this. This is from reading posts saying they were told to exchange at the store they can not exchange those exclusives. Maybe Joe will post a sticky thread if this is true or not.

Side note you could just super glue that peg back on. I know you should not have to. If you want to sell to me with that new paypal type place i be happy to pay cost + ship. I can fix it.

I would just glue the peg back on the hand, it should be simple enough. That kinda sucks, though. I had a Chief whose hand kept popping out of the joint, and eventually pieces of the ball cracked off. :(

The hand on mine's slightly deformed. It came that way. I've just heard stories like Hempy's where no one's been helped.

I bought so many of most of the figures. I never had a peg break on the hands yet. Knock on wood! Now is that peg broken off inside the arm? If so how the hell you get that out? I myself would go nuts & use my dremel to carve that peg out without damaging the insides. Then i would remake the peg from something. alot of work but for a Blue Mark VI i would do it. Like i said if you do not want it & can not get mcfarlane to exchange it i will buy C+S if you like. But i only will use that evolution payment thing. Mailing mo or check i will not do anymore.

Show some photos of it we could help more.

I did have one MC have the hand crushed in the bubble which caused a stress fracture in the peg. But i never had one break. Knock on wood again. Pm if you end up wanting to get rid of it. I can always use for parts or put time in to fixing it.

Thanks for the offer, but I'm gonna keep it cause the Blue ones are too rare. It's not a horrible defect, but it makes it to where he's only able to do one pose.

Had the same problem with that fig. Mine actually started cracking at the wrist, I just left that thing alone, and put it on the shelf. There will be enough coming that I can pose the way I want that I can just leave him alone.

Thankfully, I do have other Spartans a white M6 and a grey CQB (from Gamestop). The figures are pretty fair ones, the white one has a detail on the inner right thigh that looks imperfect. That messed-up detail, I have decided to call it battle damage.

I dug out (correction: pushed it out of the socket, I did not cut anything) the peg with a sawblade thing that attaches to an exacto knife. Used supper glue.

*Thinks of posing the red "battle damaged" Spartan getting T B'ed by my white one.*

Sort of lost. How did you get the peg out? If it was easy you are lucky. Most of the hand ones i took off & on for customs was pretty tight fit. I warmed them up to pop in & out. But yeah sorry about the defective ones you got. You could always buff out the defects then repaint them. I got 5x white error marks still did not get a non error. How many did they make of this error! Anyways got 2 kids driving me insane time to pop in a flick.

I did it very carefully and with a bit of that luck. The area around the socket was soft enough for me to get the ball out.

Nice work must of had a loose one. Most of mine need to be forced to free them up.

Nice work must of had a loose one. Most of mine need to be forced to free them up. It could move, but not turn when I put the glued hand/peg back into the socket. The thing was snapped again  I dug the ball-peg back out and reglued it to the hand.

I wonder, do the dyes (or whatever they use to color the plastic) weaken the plastic at certain areas?

You know i think mcfarlane Might use that grease stuff to spray for the joints. But very hard to get inside that small space. Here is something nobody thought of yet. Take some oil or something & put a drop inside the socket. Bet it will move alot better then. When i first get a figure i push in the hand & out then force twist slowly. Did this to over 20 mark/mc figures no breaks yet. Knock on wood..

I am amazed nobody even the huge halo fans noticed mcfarlane screwed up the mc/mark guns! The stock is silver which is supposed to be black. Easy repaint but it does look alot better once it looks right. I hope they see this post & fix for future series.
