Can anyone confirm if there is a change of production with the Iron Mongers? because all of our mongers here in the philippines has a Blue Chest and Eyes instead of color red:confused:

yeah,that's new...my Monger,and every other one i had seen,had the clear red chest repulsor and pink and white eyes...glad to see they made the change to make it more movie accurate...

Could be a variant of the iron monger. Over here in US, i only seen the red one in store so far. no blue one. i see a blue one online but that a different toy in the line with an opening chest to reveal the man behind the suit.

It's probably a running change, considering the phillipines gets most stuff before we do. And evilundertaker is right, it's more movie accurate. Expect the blues in the US pretty soon

huh ive never seen one like that before. the only one ive see (so far) is the same one everyone else has seen. that ones cool none the less congrats. man i want that mark I armor. :D

It's confirmed it's a running change. The early 1-per-case Iron Mongers had red eyes and chests because they were made far in advance of what IM showed up on screen as.

Mmmmm....question is if the red one will, became diffcult to find or the blue one? Remember, in 05 the running change with the Batman Begins Tumbler (1st one was purple then later on the black and copper one came out). The second Tumbler was a pain to find, Toyrus was the only store that carried it and they only had a few mixed in with the purple ones. Even around Christmas 05 the purple Tumbler where everywhere; Kmart, Walmart, Target, Toyrus all had over 20 purple Tumblers collecting dust.

And let's not forget the Marvel Legends Planet Hulk running change (1st figures had 2 green arms then later 1 green arm and 1 silver arm) Once again the newer toy was a pain to find, compared to the original released toy. Green arms where easy to find, but I never did find a single silver arm Planet Hulk in any store.

And even though they changed the uni-beam projector color and the eyes, let's not forget about the non rotating right hip. If the open c**kpit Iron Monger, due out in May, has better articulation (like most of us are hoping for) it will likely out sell the both the red or blue Smash fist Iron Monger. And remember kiddies, Hasbro has a Classic Iron Monger figure coming out later on, either late 08 or early 09. That figure will likely be closer to the Iron Monger's comic book appearance; you know the dark blue armor, and the little antenna on the left shoulder. It will be interesting to see of all the 4 Iron Monger figures, which one will be the most difficult to find?

I've seen the blues at walmart but the reds at target and toysrus, blues started showing up this week

The Iron Mongers with the red eyes were one per case. From what I can tell after seeing a bunch of blue Mongers at Wal Mart is that they're definatly more than one per case.
