found them at TRU today (all but Isis and Sebek), they're $12.99 each. I picked up Spawn the Immortal. While he's still not "egyptian" enough for my taste (still too literal a translation from the Al Simmons spawn), the hood/cowel or whatever you want to call it cerainly helps. The skull/mask thing is still pointless, I just have it on the ground at his feet.
The other noteworthy thing about this series is man, they really crammed them into those clamshells. Scarab's head is tilted at an angle just to fit in there. Sucks for MOC collectors, but I don't mind having to assemble a few things if it means not increasing the price.
Overall I'm pretty satisfied with "egyptian spawn" after having waited years for it

I guess we will not see Isis at TRU. :(

Yeah, I agree about the tight packaging. Glad I'm not a MOCer. Btw, Isis and Sebek(beauty and the beast ;)) are my favorites in the group. I can see why they would be the hard ones to find. Love those swords on the Scarab assasian.

there were 2 Spawns, 2 Soldiers of Ra, 1 Jackal King and 1 Scarab Assassin. It's possible that Isis and Sebek had already been picked up.

Crocodile King/Sebek was only 1 to a case in the set I saw. I don't recall if Isis was there or not.

apparently they are sending out solid cases of Isis. Not sure if that's just for specialty retailers or not.

TRU set date was 4/18 and every TRU I went to did not have ISIS. Either they are not being sold by TRU or someone beat me to them.
Anyone out there find ISIS at TRU?

that's what I figured, but I hadn't read anything to confirm it. If that's the case, it's likely that Isis is only 1 per case at TRU, if they are shipping her there at all.

I wonder if series 33 is going to stores like Hot Topic, Spencers, or FYE. If so, then they should be selling Isis and we don't have to depend on the comic shop.

Here's the original question from a boardie.
Ok, so does that mean Toyrus won't be getting any cases that contain Isis? Or is she a specialty store exclusive?
Answer from Joe.
From what I understand, it will be easier to find her at specialty. According to Manufacturing/Logistics Mass showed little interest in her.
Shortpacked would be the correct term. But the numbers are extremely low.

Thanks for the heads up, just went and scored a Jackal king (only one I really want).
For the record, they had them all but Isis.

Yeah I'm still royally pissed off about how Isis is being handled. If she's a specialty store exclusive then they should've said so from the begining; like when they first showed the line up, so we would have a better idea of where to place our preorders. Is it really that hard to give fans that kind of important info, or are they just getting back at us for bad mouthing this line, when the 1st pics were shown.
Since they know most collectors, go after the female figures and most people on this board like the female figures, why not give us a chance to get the figure we want with out being forced to pay scalper prices. They have the online Spawn store, I say email board members a number that will allow them to order the female figure in that year's Spawn series and set a limit of two or three per person. That way every boardmember will have a chance to get two or three figures. If anyone tries to order more than the set number of that figure they get banded from both the online spawn store and the message board for one year and they can only re-register after a year has pasted. Example: May 2,2008 you try to place an order for eight Isis figures, you get banned on the date you place that order May 2, 2008. All of your store and board membership info is wiped clean and you can't re-register until after May 2, 2009. This should keep the scalpers at bay, and keep greedy boardies in check. I feel is this better approach than a lottery system.
If they can ship whole cases of Isis figure to specialty stores, then I don't see why they can't work something out something like this for the online Spawn store.

Isis will be in the online store, like every other figure in the series.
The only stores that won't carry her are the ones who weren't interested in her.

I know, but how long do you think she will be in stock for, a few minutes? She'll likely sell out in an hour or be sold out as soon as the figures go up for sell like Spawn Series 29's Man of Miracles figure. Then that's it no more, they'll never restock her and most of us will have to pay scalper prices elsewhere.
They say they can't control what stores charge for their products, OK fine I get that, but how about restocking the online store with that same figure that scalpers are over charging. If a new figures like Isis or Ms.Claus is going for $49.99 to $60.00 at most online stores, then how about restocking those figures in the Spawn store, so the fans will have more options, then being force to pay $49.99 to $60.00 for figure that should cost $12.99.

I dont care about Isis anymore after seeing the actual production pics from people's posts here. I just dont care for the face. I was hoping it would look like the protos, but nope.

The Man of Miracles figures sold out? How ironic. I bet those people felt silly when he became a pegwarmer in stores.
I don't get why McFarlane doesn't just make more of the female figures available when they know those will be popular with collectors and the scalpers who know they will be popular with collectors. They know. It's been this way for years. Bethany Bled sold out quickly. Elizabeth Bathory sold out quickly. Little Red Riding Hood sold out quickly. We know why they're popular. They're displayable sculptures of scantily clad women. Pack these female figures outnumbering the other figures to stores that will take them, and people won't be screwed by turning to eBay.

One of the local Fye's didn't even get Isis in their assortment.

Maybe McFarlane is sending the same boxes to stores like FYE as the ones going to toy stores, out of convenience. They probably packed two types of boxes: one with no Isis, and one with just Isis (and a Sebek, apparently). Then it's up to the store to order one of those all Isis boxes. That's my guess.

THANK YOU!!!!! FINALLY SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS!!!!!!!!!!
How difficult is it to get this across to the Mcfarlane crew. The female figures are very very popular with collectors and sell out fast. I believe Spawn is a collector based line, not a line aimed at childen. So I would think they would want to keep their target audience happy. Ship a case with the full series of figures, then ship two to three cases of only the female figures in the set. Then a case of the full series. Do this with each Spawn series. Its' simple.

A full case of just the female figure is a bit excessive, though.
