I'm thinking about getting a Detolf for displaying my budding collection and was wondering if anyone has put acrylic steps on a shelf for displaying their 5-8" figures. Some pics of what you have or just any help would be greatly appreciated.

A couple examples. Got these at Pat Catans--they work very well. Sorry for the bad reflections--but you can still see how I used the blocks.

What about something like this: http://www.gershelbros.com/product1117.html

Anyone use something similar to this? I have several figs like the Manga Spawn, Mandarin Spawn, and Halo figs I wanna display and was wondering if these are adequate for that.

Those steps are too small. They work well with 5" figures.
These are the ones I use. You can get them at Staples or buy online.

There's a seller on ebay selling acrylic steps just for Detolfs. Surely someone can step in and give the name (I don't remember).

I also use the different sizes of sports cards cases for small step-ups and cubes that I found at Hobby Lobby. These, along with the two different rectuangular prisms from Pat Catan's and the cylinders at Pat's allow for pretty much any configuration you could come up with.

And for some larger statues I've invested in pedestals and pillars--these are good for putting tall statues in the space of two shelves and better filling out the space--I did this with PF Ash, Rocker Biker Girl, SS Ghostriders, Cheshire Cat, Cthluhu, Bowen Hellboy, and some model kits.

Can you elaborate where you got them in Staples? I have never seen them there and they do not have them on the web site.

you could make these very easily with some plexiglass from Lowes and a heatgun

you could always buy it, but of course you'd get more for your money
friend of mine made a lot of these, might be able to take a pic this weekend and post them up
