i heard that the release date is may 1st. can anyone confirm or deny that at the moment? :confused:
i was kind of hoping that i could grab a batman and joker the next day for my birthday.

It's either May 1st or 5th, those are the two dates I keep hearing.

according to photos and what not from the new york comic con, the release date shown was may 5th

yes, their release is also supposed to be may 5th. first wave will contain joker, goon, batman (TDK costume) and christian bale face chase figure.

My wally had a few DK figs today, must've been the "standard" line though. There were about 5 different hokey, gimmicky Batmen, and no villains listed on the back.

I haven't kept up on these at all, so don't know if that's going to help anyone.

Yeah, two nights ago I was at the Wal-Mart near work, at like, 1:20 in the morning, and they had a bunch of Dark Knight cases out. . . but most of them said stuff like: "Cape and Cowl" or "Battle Gloves" on it. A couple of boxes said figures, and I halfway opened one when no one was around, and I immediately saw neon green, and put the box down.
I checked back today during regular hours and they didn't have any out for sale yet, of any thing.

May 1 is my birthday.:)

I already heard that the Hulk and Indiana Jones lines also come out that day, so even without the Dark Knight line it'll still be an expensive b-day. And no, I'm not getting those unbelievably crappy Hulk movie figures, I'm getting the unbelievably awesome Superhero Squad sets. Those are the best Marvel figures out right now, hands-down.

I keep going by at night to check out the pallets- found the craptastic deluxe stuff, but nothing good.
