your almost right buzz. After a second half harted attempt at watching it I noticed alot of things I did not like about it:

The creatures were horribly done.
It was way too dark
There was alot of cheesey lines from all Alien and Predator Movies(if you would like I will post them)
and last but not least I AGREE THAT THE FIRST ONE WAS BETTER!


The biggest disapointment was the Aliens though. If you compare these Aliens to the Aliens of James Camrons film they don't match even in the slightest element.
