I have thought this guy could use a SP for awhile, based on the popularity of the Penguins and the cool look of a potential figure, but now that his stats are adding up I think it's time.

I would take him over DiPietro for a figure any day.

after making jordin staal, mark said the retailers weren't too pleased with 3 pens in 3 consecutive series. i think it'll be awhile for maf. and i don't think he really deserves one yet. i also believe there is a small group of goalies that should be made first

They way the Pens are loaded up on talent, I almost think that they'd be winning, regardless of who was in goal. Not a knock of Fleury. Just my opinion.

True enough, but Staal received lots of hype and exposure from the media and is well known due to his family ties.

But considering how bright those things are though I'm not really sure if that qualifies as "subtle - less likely to get picked off the shelf except by the informed collector who knows what he's looking for." :p

I can't see alot of people buying Vokoun regardless of what he has done, and I think we already got Miller as a US goalie to keep fans happy, so i don't see Dipietro selling unless it was a really cool pose and in his old equipment and acutal helmet.

The penguins have nice jerseys, Fleury is proving himself this year (even before the playoffs when he came back) and if you put him in a great pose, could be one of the better goalie figure we have.
