You never really appreciate how ****ing large Wal-Mart parking lots are until God starts chucking huge chunks of ice at you.

You should be able to sue churches for the weather.

It hit me in the shoulder.

The pointy one.

I may bruise. Strangely, my car is fine. Not even a little dent that I could find.

And one of my avocados fell out of my bag and rolled into a puddle of I think transmission fluid.

I had to go back to get more. Do you understand? I had TO GO BACK INSIDE WAL-MART TWICE IN ONE DAY!

Seriously, the church should reimburse me for the lost avocado and pain and suffering. They are God's reps on Earth after all, they should be held responsible for when he starts tossing **** at us. Kind of like, say if your kid throws a brick off an overpass. That sort of thing.

It had stopped by then and you can't make enough guacamole for eight people with just four avocados.

I did see a grotesquely fat woman slide down in the parking lot. That kind of made up for it.

You won't believe this, but Oklahoma regularly sees softball and on one VERY special occasion when God was REALLY pissed, I was in Guthrie and I got to witness the complete and utter devastation that BOWLING BALL size hail can do with just a fifteen second duration. Seriously, think cold cannonballs. It went through roofs, destroyed cars and cratered the whole town. Luckily, no one was killed.

Except this one dog.

The shoulder. It hurt. A lot.

Plus, the lost avocado.

I'm angry. Angry at God.

That was a good avocado.

you may as well have them file wrongful death suits against God anytime anyone dies. OMG, He's after you.

Do you know what the odds are that if you dropped a bowling ball from the clouds, it would hit a DOG?? Astronomical.

I don't buy it.:)

I've only seen hail that size once. I was walking home from school way back when I was 10 and it started. I got a big bruise on my head and a bloody nose when, for some strange reason, I looked straight up in to the sky.

Like you said though... no cars were injured. I wonder how that works?

Suck it heathen, you reap what you sow. Just count yourself lucky that God decided to mildly punish you with small ice clods from the sky for your wanton hedonism, in the old days he used to turn *****es into salt.

Let there be -no doubt- about this.

When was the bowling ball hail storm anyway? I don't remember that, but I could see it happening.

I never said it was killed by hail. The dog was in a shed that collapsed.

But, yeah you see if you drop something the size of a bowling ball from the sky, chances are slim you'll kill someone or destroy something.

Now, drop a ****LOAD of things that size and you're guaranteed to **** up everything.

I also don't know why they call it "Bowling Ball Size". I've seen pictures, and they're more like medium snow globe size.

because that's the size of the holeless bowling balls used for duck pins and other types of games like bocce ball.

It hailed pretty hard for about five minutes, then stopped. We had all kinds of bad weather today and some weak tornadoes. The funnel that turned into a tornado passed right over my house. I took a pic, but it's blurry as ****. It touched down about fifteen miles from where I lived and ripped the roof off a trailer.

At least it wasn't raining locusts. ;)

i'm willing to bet money that a grasshopper isn't as painful as a LARGE CHUNK OF ICE.

frogs, however, may be somewhat painful. and they'd be messy as hell.

I hate it when it hails. It leaves those ugly marks all over the place. Not to mention broken glass and what not. Our sky light broke one time. ...sucked. Was it really strange after the storm? I love that part.
