View Full Version : Detail painting on a Pred figure from a company I can't name

Did a lot of blackwashing and blacklining to bring out detail, some silver drybrushing, pretty much a complete repaint of the mesh on the torso as well as the eyes, and a lot of slop cleanup--silver on flesh, etc. Also added an extra shoulder cannon, so I guess it's a custom as well.:D I didn't even realize there were runes on his mask until I painted him.

On a slightly related note, this is actually my second masked wolf pred. The first one was missing a piece, and I didn't see it until I opened him. Customer service for the company I can't name has still not responded after two weeks and three attempts to contact them. In contrast, the few times I've has to use McFarlane's customer service, their responses have always been very prompt. The other company should be taking notes.

In the meantime, Spencer Gifts ordered me a replacement figure from another of their stores, which is the one you can see here in the pics. I know everybody bags on Spencer Gifts, and I'm not a fan of their prices, but their customer service in this matter was superb.

Anyway, this thread probably won't be here forever, so I hope y'all enjoy.

Have you tried using a different email provider when contacting them?
I have a hotmail account, and I too never got a response from them. However, when I used my work email, they replied with a few hours of all my questions.

Your email might be completely blocking them.

I used the form on their website and entered my gmail account info in the space provided. Anyway, too late now.

Well I don't post on the pit, so we need to find common ground! *cough-pegwarmers-cough*.

I always feel like an outcast there for some reason. Haven't been in years. Maybe I'll check it out one of these days.
