Galactus created Tyrant "in his own image" -Bio on Wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tyrant_%28comics%29)

hope he shows up in the new Guardians of the Galaxy series............

5. Mystique
Some people don't look at her as simply a villain, and I admit, she also makes a good hero. But she's an awesome villain when she is one.

4. Venom
I'm talking Brock before he went soft and super-nice. For god's sakes, his first ever plan was to crush Spider-man's head in a church bell!

3. Kang the Conquerer
No one else has been able to do what he has, if he gets hurt, he goes back in time, or forward, heals, then comes back in less than a second. Oh, and he's so twisted he'll threaten a pregnant woman to get what he wants.

2. Magneto
Some people say Magneto was never really a villain, but more a man born of a great tragedy and tried to stop a second coming for his people. I still say he's a villain and an awesome one or that

1. Dr. Doom
He gets away with calling himself one of the most cliche names of all time, because when you think Doom, you think of the good doctor himself. Seriously, He's earned the name Doom. By far the most memorable and badass villain of all time.

1) Green Goblin. He's the Joker of the Marvel U.
2) Dr. Doom. Even though he's an incompetent nincompoop, he's got a cool outfit.
3) Magneto. The best villains are the ones you can relate to and I've always wanted to kill humanity too.
4) Thanos. For pretty much the same reason.
5) The Red Skull. Because I have faith one day that he will rape a chick superhero and that would be awesome! Plus, those SS coats are *****in'!

HOW MANY TIMES HAS HE TRIED TO KILL THE FF??? HOW MANY TIMES DID HIS "GENIUS, MASTER PLAN" INVOLVE BLASTING THE BAXTER BUILDING INTO SPACE??? WHAT ABOUT THE TIME HE TRIED TO DESTROY THE FF BY MAKING SUE FEEL LIKE A STUPID WOMAN AND FAILED BECAUSE REED KNOWS SUE IS A STUPID WOMAN???

When did you start reading FF, man? Cuz, I can go on about how stupid Doom is all day long. Yeah, he's done some cool things, the devil thing, and whatever they've done with him lately, but for the majority of his career, he's been an incompetent nincompoop with a cool outfit.

You and I both know that the only reason he hasn't killed Reed is because Marvel is lame and wouldn't dare let a villain do what a villain could easily do.

And not only that, but pretty much everyone in the Marvel Uni was ******ed back in their early career.

4) Dr. Doom - Same as Magneto.

1) Eddie Brock/Venom - The concept of evil Spiderman is my biggest love of it.

First off...

DR. DOOM - The man is just plain badass now. He's got the looks, the attitude, the power, and the smarts. And diplomatic immunity. That always helps. I'm sure I wasn't the only Doom fan pissed off that the movie version sucked so badly. Still, this is a villain that is a threat to almost the entire Marvel Universe.... despite not even having half the power of an average supervillain. And Doom has proven to be quite the capable hero even, such as his own DOOM 2099 series.

VENOM - Yes, I miss the good ol' days when Eddie Brock was going nuts and shredding petty crooks to pieces because he was New York's "lethal protector." Good times, good times.

JOE QUESADA - Er, I mean "Mephisto". Stupid, retconning "destroy my childhood" devil....

ANNIHILUS - Marvel's Annihilation comic made me a fan of this genocidal nutcase. Awesome fight with Nova too.

THANOS - He's earned his place, after delivering beatings to such beings as Thor and the Silver Surfer. Always so calm about it too.... even in the midst of his own death.

*shrug*

It's not as if Doom won't escape soon enough. He always does.

(BTW: I understand the survivor's guilt and all, but c'mon -- What's with Speedball getting his masochistic freak on? The Penance costume looks like a rejected design from the Tortured Souls line.)

Went back to check on 'em, and I was wrong... it wasn't pennance, it wasn't even that comic set. :o ... but Penance did put the good sized dent in the mask....

Either way, he didn't "escape with his life", he exploited Dooms weakness to get exactly what he wanted.

Yeah, and if a frog had wings, it wouldn't bump it's ass when it hops.

He claims he "could have".... so what?

If Joker... scratch that... if some common street thug pulls a 9mm handgun on batman, then gets his ass handed to him by batman, the thug could still claim "I could have killed you", since he might have gotten a lucky shot up through batmans chin into his brain...

Not likely, but it "could" happen.

Penance didn't get sucker punched and THEN start messing with nukes.. he went in with a solid plan for victory, and it was carried out successfully.

If Penance had started the countdown a bit sooner, he would have beaten Doom without a single punch thrown.

Your argument is totally flawed.

Compared to Doom, Penance loses everything he does simply by showing and sucking as hard as a black hole.

AND????

HE'S A CLONE AND HE'S GOING TO START CIVIL WAR 2 WHILE ATLANTIS ATTACKS DURING THE INFINITE TIMES INFINITY CRISIS IN THE AMALGAM UNIVERSE SPAWNING MAXIMUM CARNAGE 2 DURING WWH2 WHICH IS SECRET WAR 3!!!!!!!!

It's gonna be so awesome that we won't be able to use the word 'awesome' anymore, because awesome will be all used up!

If they did do that story, they'd have to keep it locked in a vault encased in 3 feet of titanium, burried 200 feet underground in an undiclosed location somewhere in the world, and kill anyone who knew of it's existance, because if anyone were to read that, their head would implode due to the pure awesomeness of it, then everyone within a 15 mile radius would also have their heads implode due to awesomeness splatter.

That sounds like it would have to be drawn by Rob Liefeld.

Believe it or not, Dr. Doom CAN be beaten...

And to balance that out, here's Doom being a complete pimp.
